damn, guess i missed out on jdr99's second nugget of wisdom
It's quite possible we saved money by it disappearing - the odds are great - but the bet itself is pretty rough. We'll know for sure soon though!

Still a -EV bet, but Im a sucker so Im in for $300!
how do you figure?also, i can't deposit on BoDog, but if a trustworthy forum member wouldn't mind, i'd like to place a bet through someone. probably in the $50-100 range. i could transfer on stars, party or somewhere, and would trust that you would pay me the large amount if we do win.PM me if interested - but only please for forum guys i'll probably trust.cheerioEDIT - i guess not unless they put it back up?

The bet is back up now but it is only +450.Still maybe worth it, but with the entries getting as high as they are... I sure do doubt it.

Crazy odds Bodog is offering; 40/1 someone wins more than one bracelet at the 2006 World Series of Poker.People who have won more than on bracelet:2005: Mark Seif2004: Ted Forrest & Scott Fischman2003: Men Nguyen, Layne Flack, Johnny Chan, Chris FergusonI don't care how big the field are, this odds are too crazy not to pass up.Even if you only bet $10, you could win $400 if any player can do this.Act now, before the odds go down!
Didn't phil hellmuth also win two in 2003?

They canceled my bet as 'no action.' The reason given? They had intended to post the line at 50/1, and a mistake was made (what?). Did this happen to the rest of you?

Wait, they cancelled your bet because they accidentally gave you worse odds than they intended? :club:

Ummm wait, they cancelled it because they meant to go 50 to 1 and got all that action at 40 to 1? You must've meant 5 to 1 right?

Oh, it gets better. The 'mistake' was that the bet apparently showed up at 5/1 on their site, and so they generously are refunding all bets. I...somehow don't buy it :club:

Where are you getting this info from? Did you get an email or message on the site? I got nothing, just a refund with the Outcome "No Action".
