zimmer4141 0
this just proves that there is so much talent in internet players.. they just need the correct guidance from the games top players and they too can become something great. And AA vs. KK, and about 3 other suckouts on day 2, and other things to happen. Obviously Daniel's teaching is doing something right, but I doubt that it has had such a great impact to where Fidler has gone from a decent internet player to a dominator of WSOP events. And with Daniels help he is even more unstoppable than before. If he wins this, he will have a 100% winning percentage in the WSOP. At this rate he will never lose a tournament. Holy crap Daniel...what have you created?

I'm just curious that if someone besides Daniel's protege had that run in this tournament, would we all sit here and say they're a donk and luckbox for the run they had? zimmer4141 0
welcome to tournament pokerI know this, but there are all these people saying that he's become this great player because of Daniel's teachings, and that with just a little help from DN, an average player can become a great player. What I'm saying is that from the big hands posted, any competent player could've taken that rush and made a decent run in this tournament out of it. No matter how well he does in this tournament, it doesn't change how good of a player he is, and time is the only way to tell how good he will become under Daniel.

He is on a rush- one of the big hands that turned him into a monster at the protoge tourney was a situation where he had A-A and Cory was all in with Q-Q- whether or not he is great will take awhile to evaluate, right now I think it's just a scik run of cards at a good time. MattH 0
Why can't everyone just pull for the guy instead of analyzing his greatness, or if he's a luckbox... jesus he is an FCP on the main stage... just root for the guy!

Everyone has to get lucky at some point to get to this point. But you also know that Daniel's advice before and during the tournament has helped Fid get to this point. There are the big pots that are sometimes easier to play, but those smaller ones in between where you have to pick your spots to pick up some chips are the tougher ones. DN's experience here is invaluable.Damn...I'd love to get 60 minutes of Daniel's time to pick his brain.Either way, FidPoker's results thus far have been awesome. Keep it up and take it down Fid! Anytime anyone wins a tournament, there is a lot of luck involved. I'll root for Fidler to do as well as he can, and I hope he takes it down.

Nobodys not pulling for him. This is an internet forum, where things occasionally are discussed, with points of view and ideas presented. DrawingDeadInDM 0
Out of all the people that would read this thread, how did I know that you would be the first one to agree with me?Because I understand Poker. Why can't everyone just pull for the guy instead of analyzing his greatness, or if he's a luckbox... jesus he is an FCP on the main stage... just root for the guy!Wow, I'm glad we're just a bunch of blind fanboys. Is it so difficult to understand that you can root for someone while being critical? I hope he wins. Does the fact that he's made a few questionable/bad plays means he's a bad player? Not at all. Does the fact that people have made mention of his tremendous luck, mean they think he's undeserving of the win? Not at all. But if his name was Jeff Neilson from Miami, FL, or even say, Aaron Kanter, people would be humming a different tune. Just because I root for the Cubs doesn't mean that they don't play poorly or deserve criticism. Get it?
