Zeejustin Strikes Again

Recommended Posts

I see in the last few days Zeejustin has posted a few updates on his site. This piece of work needs to disapear forever. Does he realize people have been sent to prison for alot less than what he did. Also his lame proposal to Pokerstars is just plain stupid. Why would he think PS would want to team up with his sorry butt for any reason......oh by the way if this subject has been posted already let me say this now. I DON'T CARE.

aucu is that a hint of jealousy in your post??? He must have beat you in a few SNG's. You do understand that the best online players in the world have more than one account so people will still give them action. I mean do you want to be at the same table as JohnnyBax in a tournament??? No and either do I. So in my opinion what the kid was okay, hes just the first big money player to get caught for this. But you know Scott Fischman plays multiple accounts, does that make him a bad person??? No, because you didnt mention his name did you??? Cut the kid some slack ******.JEFF

Actually i think the big uproar with Zeejustin is he was caught playing multiple accounts in the same tournament (or SNG), therefore giving him an unfair advantage. Bax, Fischman, those guys may change up their handle, but not to cheat.

Having multiple accounts fine........ Playing a tournament in which you are represented 2 or more times NOT fine!!! It is low level cheating and people like that should be banned from playing online.P.S I think he has been cut enough slack (ie making money off people as aresult of unfair advantages)

It was a tournament, and he admitted to it and apologized. He never sat in a SNG with two SN's because that would have been to his disadvantage, so yeah scratch that idea. And as for others having different accounts, how do you know they have never done what Justin did??? No one really knows, so yeah again, cut the kid some slack.JEFF

Why is nobody up in arms about Grinder? He admitted on the circuit that he had played mtt's online with multiple accounts and said that he hadn't been aware that it was improper yet I have seen no backlash against him? The Zeejustin thing is over and done with and it has become common knowledge that plenty of "big name" online players were guilty of the same thing as him, as far as I'm concerned he's paid his dues and we should all move on.

HAHAHAHA so funny/ "I had no idea" lol give me a break. Also Zeejustin didn't come clean he was caught! Playing in a tournament with more then one account does give an advantage end of story. Zeejustin can cheat all he wants if he likes, he will get caught as shown and he certainly will not gain any respect in the poker community as a result of his ruthless underhanded actions

Jealous no, wouldn´t mind a chunk of his BR but that what I want from all players.Just sayin that playing live is a good way for him to get back in, and maybe learn a thing or two. There isn´t a poker room around that would turn him away if he was of age. He´s 20 at the moment, and made some dumb kid mistakes. Playing a B&M full time could help him grow up a bit more and get street smart. That´s all

i read the whole thing so here's the digest version.he goes through this whole spiel about how he was raised with good values and respects his grandfather, tico bonomo, who was a saint or some ****. then he says he respects how barry greenstein plays tourneys for charity, and he emails lee jones of pokerstars asking if they will let him back on the site, stake him, and let him play for charity. then lee writes back and says it's very unlikely because you're a ****ing cheating douchebag.i found it amazing that a self-admitted cheat would try to convince people that he was raised with good values and then suggest that he wants to emulate barry greenstein. laughable.

If by support you mean a click of the mouse..ok...I'm looking at this online gambling more macro than micro. As banning online poker is gaining more momentum than I ever thought it would, I'd hate for Justin's bad judgement to be used as an example for law-makers to justify passing legislation banning online poker. I feel Pokerstars did the right thing with him however if they or other sites let him return to online poker it will certainly give the anti-online poker movement even more fuel.

With all do respect you quoted me but yet didn't contribute any response to the point I raised. Whether getting caught is the issue or not the Grinder fully admitted to doing the same thing and is still held in some regard in the poker community. Seems a little hypocritical to me.

Ok, Irish said it best. Why are you ripping him if you still check his website and support him that way??? But in the MTT he played with more than one account, he was never once at the same table, but again I know there is still some advantage, so please do not rehash that argument. And as a 22 year old aspiring full time player I looked up to Zee as a player, the same way I look up to Hoosier, but Hoosier is because I have met and talked to him, and he knows what hes talking about. I looked up to Zee based on results, and the fact that he wrote about it, and let you know. Plus he is in the same age bracket as I am and its nice to see people your age succeeding at something you want to do, it gives you a sense that you can accomplish it. But cut the kid some slack, jesus, hes just trying to right a wrong, ever done that when you screwed up??JEFF

Dont look up to me, I havent made a final table in like 130540938503485830465830853048 days. :club: As for Zee, he basically took the brunt of the entire "multiple-account" scandal. MANY top online players were doing this, and unfortunately for him he was made the scapegoat of all the controversy. Do I feel sorry him? Hell no. He cheated and had a significant advantage over me in many tournaments we played together. He deserves everything that the online community gives. However, I don't think it would be unfair to give him a second chance. I would not personally be upset if Stars allowed him back on the site.In fact, I actually respect the fact that he has owned up to his mistakes and isn't sneaking behind Stars back and playing on an anonymous account. (Although I dont know for sure if he is or not) He messed up, but I don't think it warrants a lifetime ban. Regardless of your feelings for Justin Bonomo, you will hear about him in the future because the kid has amazing raw talent.

Hoosier's post was pretty much on the money with the one I was going to write, so I won't bother.Justin's basically the Barry Bonds of the online poker scene these days, and while he deserved what he got, it's unfair that he's pretty much the only scapegoat. I still find it funny that crowds that were cheering for Sosa and McGuire a few years back now boo Bonds. Hypocrisy, anyone?

Ok ok Hoosier I wont look up to you, but I do respect your game a lot. And as for forgiving the kid, yeah its warranted. He messed up and then he fessed up without trying to protect himself. He did not out anyone in the process, unlike pro baseball players now a days. Other online pros will not admit to multi accounting, but they do it and they know it, they just are not man enough to admit it. Zee should be commended for being so forthcoming with his actions. And as for him being a force, so so true. This kid will be a dominant force on the Circuit when he becomes of age.JEFF

A few players have suggested that I use the money I won via multi-accounting to hold a free-roll for the players that money was won from. I don’t like this idea for several reasons. First of all, I did not win money from multi-accounting (even forgetting the money confiscated from me).
Not sure if I understood this correctly, but is he saying that he never cheated with multi-accounting?
