NL Texas Hold'em Trny:24775004 Level:10 Blinds-Antes(1500/3000-75) - Monday, June 12, 23:35:26 ET 2006Table 5 - Table(733802) Table #1 (Real Money)Seat 9 is the buttonTotal number of players : 5 Seat 2: Villian ( $33267 )Seat 6: GuyNotHere ( $3383 )Seat 7: NiceMan1 ( $46797 )Seat 8: NiceMan2( $10433 )Seat 9: Hero( $6120 )Trny:24775004 Level:10Blinds-Antes(1500/3000-75)Villain posts ante [75].GuyNotHere posts ante [75].NiceMan1 posts ante [75].NiceMan2 posts ante [75].Hero posts ante [75].** Dealing down cards **Dealt to Hero [ 2s 3s ]NiceMan1 folds.NiceMan2 folds.Hero folds.Villain folds.GuyNotHere does not show cards.GuyNotHere wins 4875 chipsok, the reason is not that obvious. Here's the deal: about 10 hands earlier, I had just established that GuyNotHere was no longer there. Not sure what happened, but he was gone. So, all the Villain had to do was call, and he'd win the pot. That's it! Just call and GuyNotHere would have been crippled.I ended up taking 3rd, after GuyNotHere survives about 5 all-ins in a row (while not there) and finishes 2nd.Villain cost himself at least 15 bucks. He cost ME 25 bucks! I don't normally flame, but that put me over the edge. No excuse. None. Sorry, but no excuse. His excuse? "I had 8/2"Edit: Names changed to protect the guiltyMore edits: since I'm still PO'd and parts didn't make sense.Edited again: Only cost me 25 bucks, not 35 (as originally stated)

If you know that GuyNotHere is not there, you should just raise his blind with any two until others catch on as well. Problem solved.

My bad for not moving all-in with 2/3 when a guy was expected to be blinded-out in the very next hand.Sorry, still a bit bitter. I had pretty much announced to the table that it looked as though he wasn't there, about 10 hands earlier. The next time he folded the BB with no raise, it should have been more obvious to everyone.

You threw away highly profitable situation when you folded.Better luck next time.

You should have played because with 3-2 you can make the wheel and that's a good hand

$25! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The money isn't the point, really. But stakes are stakes. On the bright side, some guy who eventually got reconnected was probably really happy to see that he had about $60 more in his account than he expected.

please tell me you lost a huge all-in pot to get down to 2xBB and not folded your way down like a donk
all-in AA vs K/10 vs AQ. AQ makes the straight. I actually worked myself back up from 2K at that point. When it was down to 3 of us (if you can count the guy that wasn't there), I had 12K (chip leader had over 90K) and I folded down like a donk. I admit to that. Next time I'll try not to be that smart.

I hate how guys that are away always seem to outlast me in freeroll tournaments. Man they play so sticking tight! But my favorite is when the table folds to the sb with the bb the away. The guy calls the bb, then checks it down only to lose when the bb pairs his 4.

Not sure how other sites handle it, but on Party, if you're not all-in (and you're away) your hand gets folded. That would have left him all-in on next hand (SB) with hardly any chips, and hardly any chance to survive another round (especially given the 75 chip ante).Grrrr...
