Jennings7 0
Anyone playing in this event this year. I would assume no but I just thought I'd ask. This event is going to be the most presitgious to win. The Main Event will still get tons of people but it won't present the same prestige as winning this HORSE event. I'm only 20 and not 21 until November but I may be in Vegas for some of the Series on business with my uncle. Do you have to be 21 to rail the events? Lastly, any word on the turnout expected for this event?
matt21sz 0
You can be in the casino under 21....you simply can't play. I am stumped as to what the turnout may be for this event. For some reason my little brain thinks it could be 400 people, or it could be 4000 people. Either way, the winner is a poker bad-***.

TheCinciKid 0
If I was any good at O8 I'd probably try to Sat into FullTilt's $535 Satellite to this event. However, I'm not a good enough all around poker player yet to waste my money on it. I'd guess there won't be more than a couple hundred players in this tourney and the number of internet qualifiers will be incredibly low. Possibly single digits.

Unless they've changed it, if you are not 21 you can pass through but you can't stand and watch. Even slots or anything like that, they still have those signs up everywhere. I was at the WSOP ME last year(was 22) and my dad went up to one of the directors and asked her a question. I got up out of my seat to go ask her a question too and she carded me!!!!! I admit I do look under 21 but my main thinking was "If I was under 21, why would i get up and come ask you a question?" I mean if you just act normal and watch you should be fine but don't be a doucheclown and say "I'm only 20, am I allowed to watch?" beause they'll decline you.
cu in 4years Dan 1
we hold smaller H.O.R.S.E events at the pub and sometimes at my friends tournement every month. pretty tough, the winner of it will always be the best of the best no fishes escaping through the hole here and there

SweetDaddyFreak 0
I still think its funny that Full Tilt set up Sats to a 50k event. Innovative to say the least but whoever thought of that must have had a revelation. I say a big name online player will win the tourney...Donator, Gamble AB, Sheets, MrSmokey1 someone in that category
Fupo 0
I thought I heard something about partypoker running sats. for this event, did I make that up?

eYank 0
i think this event is going to be great for fans to watch, because most of the field will be the top class players
TheWatchMan 0
there will be more than 500 players, and phil ivey will win.mark my words
Killrus 0
I love hold em and omaha, I just cant stand stud. Razz, I think thats a crap shoot. I'm glad they are doing this. The 50k buy in is crazy. Wont be as interesting imo if one person doesnt make mulitple final tables(guessing chances of this happening are smaller since the field will be smaller). We shall see. Stylin_Fish 0
Poker players, playing horse? I bet 3 gabillion dollars on Phil Ivey because he's black and can dunk.
ravenfan1733 0
Last year, you had to be 21 to enter the convention area where the WSOP is held. They simply had a sign posted so if you look old enough, you probably won't get hassled since you won't be playing.Good luck.
danlux 0
Party Poker does have sattelites to the h.o.r.s.e event, it's a freeroll every week. Top 50 of each freeroll tourney get entry into the saturday tourney with 2500 people, 11-20th place gets a 2500 dollar wsop buy in, 2-10th get a main event buy-in, and first place gets the 50,000 dollar buy in for h.o.r.s.e

What a rippoff. Have an entire event devoted to H.O.R.S.E. and then only show the final table which doesn't have the H.O.R.S.E. format.
