The Phoenix 0
Just busted with just over 100 left.Man, what a ride for a while. I can never get cards in tournies but today, at least in the middle section I was being slapped in the face with cards. The bad news is I wasn't getting them paid off, in fact, I was crippled at one point when my aces were cracked by 10s after I re-raised in EP and for some unknown reason with a solid stack he pushes. A couple hands later I picked up Kings and doubled up vs Jacks. Later on, I doubled up with AA vs KK that held and I had 150k in chips when the average was about 30 or 40k. From there I just chopping away and building my stack to just over 200k. From the bubble with 400 left to 100 I was just sickly card dead. Had AJ once and had to fold 9's once. 5 high high was the order of the day. Stealing pots was getting difficult and people kept pushing over the top of my modest holdings so my stack was dwindling.Just before breaking the 100, I had 178k in chips which was below average, blinds were 8000/16000, I popped it to 48k in EP, guy beside me with 125k pushes and I didn't think he had my 10's beat, I thought he was on a good ace so I called, he had AK and won the race. ****. If I win that I have 300k and am right in the thick of it. Like Hoosier said, I can't win that one race I need to go real deep in one of these majors. So I had about 25k left, in BB and the button raises to 30, I push certain my k9 is ahead, he has j10 and hits his jack and I'm out.Sorry about the long post, but the adrenaline is still pumping. I really thought I was going to go REAL deep in this thing. I played my best poker all day. The good cards helped but I made some great laydowns. I'm going to look at the hand histories from where I went card dead and see if I was a little passive in spots, but I don't think I was at all. I'm very frustrated. FYI, to those that were asking... CrazyCyriot is still in and has 1 million in chips, he posts here or used to post here. I railed him a few times. Something that may only interest me, but If I was still in SamEnole was moved to my table and would have been on my left. That would have been fun!

The Phoenix 0
Crazy Cypriot is down to chip lead with 4 left, and they are talking about a deal, but it looks like it will fall through.........play on!Congrats to Crazy Cypriot. I was railing but had to take care of some things and also he lost half his stack on a big laydown he made whether it was good or bad play it kept him alive so that has to be good and it propelled him to 4th. Not sure if he was involved in the deal or not. I didn't get back until after it was over. The highest finisher from my table was 16th. Damn, why couldn't my 10s hold up???? It was supposed to be my time, dammit!
Zeatrix 0
don't be sad hoosier It would have been different if you called. The cards being delt change every milisecond or something like that.No they don't, before each hand they shuffle a deck and then deal the cards as if from the top of this deck. The only thing that alters how each hand plays out is at which time the hand before is completed...
