I'm playing! Just found a PLO table on Party with a $140 average pot!I suppose if I was really ambitious in my donk search, I'd be playing on Bodog, but I still haven't cleared that stupid $100 bonus on Party, and I want to get it over with in case I want to make a cashout.Oh, and I just saw someone call a pot-sized turn bet with just a draw after the board paired with an all-in player in the hand. Then, while I was typing this post, I made a bad call on the other table because I was giving to much attention to the post with just the nut flush draw and top pair because I thought I'd be able to bluff a made straight if the board paired on the river. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that I only had $80 behind. Well, when I rivered trips I had the pot odds to call and villian had......a missed gutshot! Go donks!

Mediocre start to the month, and everything is weird as hell.$2,500 roughly in the first two weeks basically.Im roughly breaking even (probably down) at 3/6 in my past 5k hands there, and 8BB/100 at 2/4 over my last 5k at that level.Weird ****.edit:it's getting even more polarized.Over the last 3k hands spanning all stakes, im up 7 buy ins at 2/4 and down 2 buy ins at 3/6. not unusual in itself, but that's AFTER having run for 8BB/100 at 2/4 for 5k hands and being down a bit at 3/6 over the past 5k hands.Over 6,500 hands at each, there's a winrate gap of something like 10BB/100.

You are correct sir. Looks like I'll be readjusting those goals anyway. Another kick *** week.June is running at +$17,147.60 with $930 more to clear of bonuses (cleared $570 in last week), the $50 has been turned in to a net profit of $22,193.58 in 24 days.New June goal is $25,000 for the month...

SHLHE is the devil...and yet it's an action-packed, fun game. Granted, I'm staying away from it until I can get back to playing 10/20 and above.

I'm having a kick *** month running at an average of 20.57 BB/100 at 5/10 and up.Goal is $20k for month, at just over $10k so far, and just started playing with rakeback (7.5 hours at $149 in rakeback so far).
Not too shabby when you hit your monthly goal by the 20th of the month.Re-Re-revised obtainable June goal: +$30k$9600 to go (figure I'll get maybe $1k from rakeback rest of month and maybe $600 more in cleared bonuses), so really only $8k to go and 11 days in which to do it. Stretch goal: +$35kBased on my last 3,000 hands, stretch is definitely attainable.

Haven't been using it. On a site not supported by PT. I downloaded the free trial of Poker Office, but found I was paying too much attention to that and not enough to the game I was in, so I'm done with tracking software.I keep a spreadsheet with the following data:Date| Time seated|Amount Bet|Amount Won|# Hands|Limts|Deposits|Bonuses|Rakeback|Withdrawals|Balance|Amount Won At Table|Hourly Rate|Daily Total|Weekly Total|Monthly Total|BB/Hour|BB/100|Then I have a bunch of summary statistics such as $$/Hour, $$/Hand, Breakdown by each table level, etc.I've found that's enough for me. I may not play every hand perfectly, but then, I don't want to. Sometimes I know my opponent well enough that I know a raise will fold him. And sometimes I'll raise every time the action's on me and then show a pure bluff, even when I know my opponent has a hand - sets me up for some good action later when he's holding a mid-pair and I've got the nuts. Plus, I always found that PT was for people playing full tables. I never sit at anything but 6 Max unless it's a free tourney.

In fact, the one bad day I've had so far was the day I was using Poker Office. I'm a stats geek, so I found myself checking what Poker Office updated to after every hand. I was playing PO more than I was playing the game. Net Result: - $4200 that day.Other than that day, in the 25 days, I lost $19 once and $233 another time, but have been ahead all of the other 22 days. I've sat at a table 135 times in this run, 100 times a winner, 35 times a loser. And 3 of those losing sessions shouldn't count since I was disconnected and went back and lost some more. They were really one sit, but due to the disconnections, I have them in my spreadsheet as 2 sittings each. Also, 3 losing sessions were while I was at work. Lost an early hand or two, and had to ditch when the boss came by, lol...

ignore the haters AAAKK
Oh, it's done. I have my pile of cash at home, $13k in my poker account, $4k coming to Neteller, and some nice new toys. What the haters fail to see, is that with a $50 initial BR, it's worth playing beyond your BR. At that level, it's just entertainment, so if I lose some of my winnings, or all of my BR, it's worth the risk to make a run.If I followed the same book they've apparently all memorized, I'd still be playing $0.05/$0.10, and STILL overplaying my BR, since, according to them, by not having 1,000 times the BB in my BR.I guess that's why most of them are toiling away at $1/$2 while I don't even waste my time at $5/$10 any more.I also love how they see "tried a new site" and turned it in to "never played poker before." And some of these guys saying chit were in junior high when I started playing online poker!!!And Zach, mayhap I am. I'll let you know for sure in a few more months.Running at 11.4 BB/100 and 9.27 BB/Hour (previous amounts I quoted were doubled due to a mistake in my spreadsheet, so the 20.57 should've been 10.28). So, as you can see, it's even getting better.I got a nice laugh from everyone who said $13k in 17 days wasn't possible. Well, here I am, 8 days later having just about doubled up from that!Keep in mind haters, just because you can't do it, doesn't mean it can't be done...

AAAKK,you are preaching to the choir, brother.I'm one of those scared money guys though, always worried about proper bankrollBut I'm glad you are making a killing.I'd never fault someone for taking risks.note to self: sit at 20/40 tonight.

And don't be afraid to duck and cover, even if it means you're done for the night. When I sit higher than my BR, if I make a killing early, I'm gone. Got nowhere to go but down if I sit $50/$100 and pull down $3,000 in pots in the first cycle...

"Bankroll" isnt the reason you shouldnt be sitting in a 50/100. If you really think that you're going to beat those tables, you're more delusional than i would have ever guessed.
someone beats those.why not AAAKK and me ?

Well, let's see, I've played 50/100 for just under 8 hours now and made just under $9k in profit there...Took $600 or so off a guy earlier. I was BB, he raised UTG, UTG+1 called, I had J7s and called. J was hi card on rainbow flop. I checked, he bet, UTG+1 called, I raised, they both called. K on turn, I checked, UTG bet, UTG+1 folded, I called.A on river, I checked, he bet, I called and took it down with my pair of J's.He was raising with 43c, had been tilting, so I made the safe call down.I'm sure someone will come on here criticizing my play, but how can you argue with making a read, being right, yet playing it conservatively, especially at a table like 50/100?
