I validated Ricky Gervais in The Office thread, but I have another one:Hugh Grant. Yes, it's true. The guy is sharp, witty and tells funny stories. Good fun.Who have y'all seen that was a blast?

For some reason, Harland Williams and Jeff Goldblum really crack me up every time they are on Conan. They are just so oddly amusing.

Howie Mandel was hilarious on Conan a couple weeks ago.
That montage of the different ways he says "Deal or No Deal" on the show was priceless.

there are so many of these it's not even funny, but it's too bad we forget about them. some people just seem born to be talk show guestsone i can remember is Patton Oswald on Conan a few years ago and totally killed. had me laughing every few seconds, conan didnt even need to say anything. it was just a great appearance.

Dave Chappelle always has great talk show appearances. Might have something to do with him being absolutely hilarious. But he can come out really laid back and still be really funny.

Jim "Chris" Everett on Jim Rome about 10 yrs ago.
Excellent call! A definite classic! "I bet you won't call me Chris again." "I bet I will Chris." As Jim Everett launches himself over the table to lay the smackdown on Romey.

On old school Letterman there was an old man he had on a couple times. No, not larry "bud" melman (although he was hilarious). This old guy was friggin insane, I think his name was brother theodore or something....Anyone remember who I'm talking about?

Check out this clip of Crispin Glover on Letterman from back in the day. Totally hysterical.

Despite what the title says, he wasn't really high on acid, he was playing a part. Go to IMDB and search Ruben and Ed and you can see from the preview that he's just in character. "I'm strong, I can arm wrestle. Do you wanna arm wrestle? I can kick."

I can't believe no one has mentioned Andy Kaufman vs Jerry "The King: Lawler on Letterman years back...that was the single greatest moment in television history...ok maybe not, but it was still pretty damn cool

I saw Bruce Willis on Letterman promoting 16 Blocks a few months back, and he SLAYED. Absolutely oustanding.
