Hems3333 0
I recently was playing at the Tropicana Casino (1/2 no limit cash game) and they said that if you play with your chips in front of your cards it is considered a bet and must be honored. Last night i was watching the WPT and noticed many times players playing with their chips in front of their cards. Can someone tell me why this was allowed or are the rules different in tournament play?thanks
mcpickie 0
i'm guessing it's a way of getting you to keep your cards in front of your chips. in live action, you must keep your cards in plain view so that people in the hand can see whether you are in or out. you're not supposed to cover your cards with your hands or put your cards behind your chips.i guess that rule will have your cards in plain sight at all times.
