Socrates 0
It was less than 10% of his stack. While its usually to better push with crap for 10%, it's not horrible to do what he did if he has any reason to believe his cards are live. Some are gamblers, some are not.
ForRealDD 0
Jose Alvarado doubles through Ben GordonBen Gordon raised to 3.2k and Jose Alvarado, Full Tilt Poker Qualifier, pushed in for an additional 11k. Gordon called and the players turned up:Jose Alvarado [A♣][10♥] Ben Gordon [K♠][J♥] The board came [Q♥][8♣][2♣][A♥][2♠] giving Alvarado a pair of [A]'s on the turn to double up. It was less than 10% of his stack. While its usually to better push with crap for 10%, it's not horrible to do what he did if he has any reason to believe his cards are live. Some are gamblers, some are not.10 of those loose calls and chip leader is on the rail. I guess some don't see it as a bad play.

Socrates 0
I agree calling is not an optimal use of the 10% rule. hence why I said, be the pusher in most cases. If you can put a player in heads up with only 10% of your stack, you need to take that shot with any two cards in most cases.
