pocktdeuces 0
OK so i know this topic has been discussed a bit here, but i am not really looking for a $500 set of chips. i have around $200 to spend on then, and want to get something nice, not plastic. i know theres gotta be something out there. I really like having the chip values on the chips. My chips that i have now are like a clay composite type thing. they feel plasticy though, and i dont really like that all that much. i would like the chips to have rounded edges. i dont really know what else i need to mention about what i want. I know there are a lot of chip experts out there. Is it possible to get something like this? Or do i really just need to spend like $500 to $1000 to get a quality set? I think i only really need 500 chips, and would like a few of them to be 500 and 1000. thanks for the help guys. Jesse
CrazyJoe 0
apparently 'faux clay' chips are good for the price, no metal inserts and such. I'm just starting to get into looking for a serious set of chips. I'll probably end up spending the dough on some sick clay set though.
KONGOS 0
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?...os=0F&bp=&img=0These look pretty nice....no values but for $130 - great deal. Clay, 11.5g, 1000 chips.

KoRnholio 2
www.nevadajacks.netThe Skulls and Desert Sands are both pretty good quality, no metal inserts and they're a bit lighter than the average clay composite (much more like a real casino chip). They're also available as free gifts through pokersourceonline for some poker sites (check them out if you haven't already - referal name "matthewmoney"). dshmif 0
http://www.sidepot.com/neophyte_poker_chips_s/28.htmFirst mid range set I picked up. They're pretty good for the price. They aren't that hard plastic crap. Has a texture to it. I think the website says something about how they added the same material that's used in hockey pucks.
