Unfortunately, JC was just knocked out in 21st. It folded to a player in LP who open-raised for 5k with blinds at 1k/2k. JC pushed over the top with ATo and failed to improve against the player's JJ. He still won $2.3k for his efforts though, and I look forward to hearing about his attempts in the other events.

JC's play was great. However, the blinds escalated so ridiculously fast at the end that it became nearly a poker superstars type crapshoot with 3 tables left. The average stack was an M of 5 or less when JC was knocked out. GL to him in the next events he plays in.

Ugh, that sucked...I'll write a full report on how the tourney went tomorrow, right now i dont really want to re-think everything. Seriously though I cant begin to understand how and why these people are deep in a 1k wsop tourney. By FAR the worst plays Ive ever seen, my big scores came from making a move for all my chips preflop and people making the most disgusting calls ever. First I had AA Sb vs BB, it folds to me, I bet a drunk BB makes it 1k I call and the flop is J52 (or 3) I check he bets 600 into 2k and I push for 2k more...he calls with 66 and I double up...then I have 4500 and blinds are 200/400 with 50 ante, it folds to the bb who looks around and then makes sure it was folded to him, he then calls, sb completes and I shove without looking (they didnt notice because I just slightly picked up my cards) button folds, bb instacalls 90% of his stack with Jko I have 72o and river a 2. Later, it folds to the sb when I have about 14k in chips and blinds are 400/800 he makes it 2000 and I shove for the rest on the bubble with Q6, to leave him crippled. He calls w/ KJ, I hit a Q. Seriously i saw the wierdest plays EVER (a self proffessed pro that travels the circuit and has 5 rings, folded KK PF after commiting 1/4th of his stack and getting reshoved by a guy in the sb...his reasoning was "You've already had aces twice so you're probably on a rush still, and even if you have AK I still have to hold it for 5 cards". anyway I busted on a "resteal" from the sb when the button raised, oh well. I wish it would have gone better.

Obv folding KK pf after investing 25% of his stack is how he won 5 rings! :club: Too bad you couldnt win one more all-in. It really has to be frustrating that it is gg post flop play once you hit a certain level in blinds. BTW KJoff=the stone cold nuts...you should have known that.

Anybody notice the same guy won Event #1 $500 buy in (545 entrants) and Event #3 $1k buy in (394 entrants)? $1,500 in buy-ins makes $198,000...sick.

yeah, he was the quintessential "trendy asian". He was a pretty solid player it looked like. Very relaxed and very confident.
Ahh.....the clearish greyish glasses and loose button up shirt type?

quick trip report...got there late friday night, met Cobalt first, then finally ran into JC, Pocket3's and Cowboy, thanks for the gear, it is/will get a lot of use in the next week. I gave a shirt and hat to a friend who won the super sat on friday nite, I am sure you guys either saw or met him at some point. He will be playing in the gear on thursday. My wife did ok in the ladies event, doubled up 2nd hand with AA but took a large hit a couple hours later when her 2 pair on the flop got gutshotted. she doubled up again but got blinded and ante'd out. oh well. For me I put in 2 14 hour sessions at 1-2, up huge on both, then decided to donk some money off at 2-5 (first time playing). I actually sucked out early at the 2-5 table to double up to over a grand. but lost it an hour later and left the table up on the day 200 bucks. thats a long day to only win 200. but its better than being down. sorry I did not get to spend more time hanging with you guys, I never did see anyone on sunday. Both and the wife and I got lots of comments about the FCP gear. I definately talked the site up, so hopefully the word is getting around.Well GL to those who are still there!!!!! Seeya in Tunica next month.

my trip update so far:busted out of $500 tourney--friday and monday..only around 150 invested though, b/c of satelite wins//// -150cash game: 1-2 nl- wed-buy in =200, cash 303= +103 2-5 nl thurs. buy in = 400, cash out= 557 = +157 1-2 nl fri. buy in= 200, cahs out= 700= + 500 1-2 nl. mon. buy in= 200 cash out=500= +300 -then we were leaving to go home, and i dropped $20 in the $1 slot machine nearest the door ad hit a small jackpot!! i won 1500, a few hours ago, and after state taxes i got around 1400...-so that puts me at around +2400for the trip, minus gas money...i'll be visiting harrah's, and the cahs games a few more times this week, hopefully winning a bit more, but so far things have gone pretty well, minus the poor tournament showings...-i witnessed JC win quite a bit in 5-10, nl toda, so it looks like his week is getting more and more on the profit side as well....hopefully everyone else from f.c.p. is making some money as well...good luck to everyon still playing at harrah's...

Anyone have any dirt on how FCP'ers did in Monday's $500 event? And was anyone able to sat. into the 10k ME or drunken enough to buyin?
I played a 1k stt to the ME and busted 4th, the most disgusting thing ever. 15 minute levels....today I won a 100+10 stt so I guess I'll freeroll into another ME sattelite.
