offset 0
That almost happened to me, but I checked the schedule. The travel channel apparently has a new schedule. The play the new episode a 6:00 pacific (before I get home) then they replay last week's from 8:00-10:00 and show the new episode again at 10:00. I used to watch at 9, and actually changed from the Clipper game last night, but saw last weeks episode was on, went to check what was up, then found out. It worked out well, since the Clipper game was essentially over at 10:00.I'm in San Diego and it was on at 9 here.
Vatche 0
i dont think so...grinder was crushed when he saw scottys hand...he kept puttig his hands in the air like, "what can i do"...maybe they did cut a deal, but i can guarantee they both wanted the win...you cant compare last nights episode to the juddah/phillips episode, both those guys dont care for glory all that much, its just about the money to them. What did he think the Scotty had AT?
anselm 0
1. AJo with all the action pre-flop? Doubtful that the Grinder normally puts it on the line with that against someone like Scotty.2. I perceived Grinders shrugs and smirks completely differently. Really seemed like he was totally fine with Scotty taking the win.

The guy is hugely independently wealthy....I feel like if anything it is only about the glory to him. But I am open to hearing why you think this....
Canary3 1
First, I wouldnt challenge smasharo.... hes smarter than you..... Second, the other day Paul was complaining about having to pay 6% to the real estate agent who sold his house.... kind of crazy. I guess he talked them down to only 4%

I see your point...but his inherently frugal nature probably helped him make all that money in the first place.

Yoda 1
Cause it makes for shitty TV.It all does. It's high blind car crash poker where you only seeing the car crash hands. What's the diffrence?good luck.Thats untrue anyway, they fixed their blind structures for many of these events. At the Aruba tourney they were only at 25000-50000 blinds with 4 left and each player having 1-3 million in chips. You can't ask for a better more entertaining structure at a final table. profxavier9 0
i dont think they chopped you are way off.. They were getting tangled in so many pots with nothing. Gavin and scotty were definently loaded that was funny. Grinder is an animal.

Also, Animals don't call off their chips with AJo.
profxavier9 0
i would make the same call that grinder did and so would you, i hope. after he puts that re raise in pre flop there isnt much he can do. scotty isnt the tighest player in the world, ajo heads up with WPT blinds is a good hand. there is a fairly big range of hands scooty can have 77-1010 A9s A10s heck even 33-66 scotty is capable of doing all of that. Grinder looked very dejected and hes been there before. First hand heads up has something to do with it also. Folding ajo there and having scotty with a big chiplead on you is ev- IMHO
SpeedKills 0
When we're on the subject...Before the protégé final table began, I made a deal with Brian Fidler. I would try and pass him most of my chips early, and if he won we'd split whatever he won in the four major tournaments, if anything. That's the reason I was taken away. Mr. Negreanu caught us colluding, but decided to make me the only scapegoat. I'm old and he thought he could make up whatever excuses for my disapperance afterwards. There, I've said it. Do you worst Mr. Negreanu, now that I have revealed your scam.- Jerry CarmichaelI havent been around for a while, anyone know if this has any validity?

He still has 20bb left and he is obviously beat and he is not potstuck. As far as AJo being a good hand, not for the 3rd raise it isn't, even hu. At best he has one over or maybe a coinflip against TT or 99.Sometimes the blinds dictate a shove-fest at the WPT (as with both Bellagio tournies this season) but not this time. They each had 3mill at 50/100/10 which is plenty of play.

Try doing that without someone knowing exactly what to do.And imagine if you screw things up? This isn't a $10000 car that you're buying...I'm not a real estate agent. I'm just saying, there's a reason they get paid well.
