PimpRock 0
First, this aint a tournament forum and I aint a tournament expert so take my advice with a pinch of salt BUT... I think your flop raise is the height of stupidity. You dont win a tournament on this hand and your commiting yourself all in to a pot where your only gonna get called by a hand that ebats you.Ok, so you were leading and, given you had 2 of his outs, you probably think its a bad beat but you didnt know that and gambling half your stack so early on with an underpair just seem stupid to me.As I say, Im no experty so the next man might say great move, ul. But I doubt it.

I got called.Bust #1: CR all-in with AK to a A high flop and get called by AQ. Result = Q turned.Bust #2: Reraised all-in with QQ at a J77 flop and get called by AJ. Result = J turned.Bust #3: Reraised all-in with TT at a QT8 flop and get called by JJ. Result = K turned, A rivered.Im not complaining, I dont mind losing like this, but should I have played these another way? Im playing low stakes NLHE.PS My hundreth post. Smasharoo 0
Yes and no. Donkey is likely to call with almost anything considering the size of the pot, and is very likely to get all in on any turn anyway if you show any weakness here, but you need to seriously consider if you need to raise this flop bet or not at this stage of a MTT. This isn't exactly a dream flop for TT three handed when you're lead into. His bet indicates he's calling any raise because he's so short, and you're basically committing to showdown here if you call. Also I'm a little unsure on your preflop raise here. TT is a very marginal hand to play postflop after three limpers, even in position, with two of the limpers stacks being this short. I'd be a lot more inclined to shove here very likely take a coinflip with a large overlay for all of one of the shorty's stacks. The only worry is that the guy that had you covered is limp-rring with JJ or better, but that's life. Limping looking to flop a set and possibly getting involved in a large pot with someone who you can double through is also a option seriously worth considering. All in all I think your raise is probably the worst option. Having to most of the time dodge at least 9 overcard outs on the flop and whatever other random stuff migth against 2 or 3 other players probably isn't the best time to be getting a lot of chips in preflop. I'd limp this or raise enough to win it right here or get it heads up for all of one of the short stacks chips.good luck
shpaget 0
Yes, you overplayed it...you either got to call or raise more pf - like 250 (maybe even more)...150 with 3 limpers is giving too many hands too decent odds. Personally, I call pf.You bet 900 into a 600 chip pot with an overcard into two people who called a 5xbb raise, one of whom has bet into your pf raise.Yes, his call was questionable, but close (considering he doesn't know you have two of his outs his price and pot odds are almost identical)...plus, if he sees your overbet to mean you have something like AK, then he has 6 additional outs. jowest 0
Definately push all in pre flop and hope to take it down right there, or limp and hope for a set. Hit the set and bet or ditch the hand.Way to agressive with TT at this point in the tourny. Too early and the blinds are to low to try and steal. I also find that at those levels ($10+$1) you still have call anything donkeys until you are down to 3 handed.
