Flack_attack 0
I most definitely agree. David Willia- er, Blaine, is a great magician.
Petoria 0
ok, stop voting if you've never seen Criss Angel, David Blaine sat in a box, and a block of ice. Angel is much more Houdini-like and has cooler tricks.

bayouboy 0
Anyone wonder why ABC would hire Stuart Scott to be the host of the show??? I wanted to throw my tv out the window. I guess I'm all booya'd out.
Wandigo 1
David Blaine because of his street magic. Despite the fact that a lot of the non-card tricks are staged and tricked, he's still very impressive. I'm not a big fan of his stunts (Standing on that poll for days on end) but if it improves his mental and physical ability, then more power to him.Did anyone else start holding their breath at the same time as him tonight? I lasted until 1minute then couldn't go any further. <-- I looked like that.
Norhas99 0
This is a really stupid thread. Its Angel by a landslide, seriously. David Blaine is a tool. All he does is recreate ancient indian tribes' traditions. Indians have been doing Blaine's crap for years upon years. None of Blaines stuff is original - absolutely none of it. Angel's stunts are completely original and are way cooler to watch.

LongLiveYorke 38
For sure Angel. Blane's just a magician. Angel's a 300 year old Vampire with a soul... wait, what are we talking about?
Dirk17 0
I' ve honestly never seen any of Angel's work so I can't judge, but I did see Blaine on the street once in LA. He did the trick where he levitates for a group of about 10 of us. It was the wildest thing i've ever seen. I was 5 feet away and have no idea how he did it. Although some of his stunts are kind of dumb, after seeing that trick I was impressed.

Go to YouTube and type in "Street Magic Revealed"Kinda ruins it...but interesting how they pull off those tricks.
timwakefield 68
David Blaine's street magic is some of the craziest shit I've ever seen. That said, I watched the show tonight for a couple minutes, and that roulette "trick" he did at the casino was complete bullshit. It's patently impossible to predict what color will come up on 5 consecutive spins. Either it was a total set-up (probably), or he did it like 20 times and only showed the one that worked. MINDREEEEEEEEEAK kind of sucks. Some of his tricks are amazing, but some are quite clearly camera tricks, which is just dumb. His levitation is retarded, as are the tricks where he has somebody write something down and not show it, and then he knows what it says. He obviously has a spy with a telescope feeding him the answers into an earpiece. If he just did his crazy card tricks, etc, he would rule.
renaedawn 1
Is Criss Angel the guy who did that show on Fox where he revealed how all the great magic tricks are done? You know, the one where they didn't reveal the identity of the magician giving away the trade secrets?

Some of his tricks are cool, but the show is total cheese.

I found it on the net once - can't find it now. Wish my webcam was hooked up - i'd post a little movie on putfile or something. All you're doing is balancing on the ball of one foot while keeping your heels locked together. Its totally all in your angle to the crowd. I'm impressed with both guys. SAw a special where chris angle put himself through a woodchipper. That, I can't do....
