DanielSon 0
Sorry you joined this crappy club Danielson. I had hoped that all of this ended.Interesting that the thief switched from 24h poker. I wonder if there will be a rush of this scam now.Eugene at Neteller was good to me, hopefully he'll take care of you too.Did you get the money back and do you still have an Neteller account? I have already closed my checking account before the instacash even hit it. So the only money at a loss is the money that was already in my Neteller account they also took. cdn-pokernut 0
firepay is good...i've used them alot and have never had a problem....they are also cheaper then neteller....
HoosierAlum 0
firepay is good...i've used them alot and have never had a problem....they are also cheaper then neteller....Neteller doesnt charge any fees for withdrawing into my bank account, but Firepay charges $10.
cdn-pokernut 0
cheaper to deposit....i haven't had the pleasure of withdrawing any amount from them.......I get a check sent to me from the site....usually u.p.s.

I have already closed my checking account before the instacash even hit it. So the only money at a loss is the money that was already in my Neteller account they also took.Neteller said if I have my computer professionally cleaned, they will reinburse the $$ that was taken from my neteller acct (the 750 + fees comes from my bank). I just haven't sent my comp out yet (don't know how I could live without it for a day)I also worry about it happening again....does firepay charge for transfer from poker site to firepay , then to another pokersite ? Or do they only charge for checks to me ? I didn't use instacash with neteller, so I'm not used to any fees.
DanielSon 0
I found the problem!! Not spyware! I checked the trash can of my email inbox. I found three deleted Neteller messages in there, one was my password which someone had requested from Neteller. So the hacking has been in my hotmail inbox. The interesting thing is, my password for my hotmail box is the same as my FCP password and UB password. I also register this email account with these poker sites.

krup24 0
FCP forum has a different password then my FCP account.but your FCP account password is the same as ur email password correct?
DanielSon 0
Correct. Was the same, I just changed my email password. And once this is straightened out I'm having my registered email address with Neteller switched to a more secure address. I also found out that it doesn't take any special information (like a security question) to get a password, only an email. So I think Neteller needs to fix that problem and that should straighten all this out and solve all their problems. If they had just requested an answer to my security question, this wouldn't have happened. Apparently they only do that if you are requesting your accound details.
krup24 0
well if thats the root of it then its definitely possibleI had my account details in my email which was the same password of the forum but not of any pokersites but it was the same as my forum password. I didn't get hit.I have since changed all passwords to crazy combos of letters/numbers and removed my bank account details from netteller. The question is, how did they get ur password

How the person accessed this information I don't know. Perhaps just like the rake calculator some programmer snuck it into the software. Who knows.
DanielSon 0
Out of curiousity, anyone else who got hacked, was your email password the same as your FCP or UB password or similar?
finztotheleft 0
Yes, I'm retarded....same email address for email, neteller, fcp, ub. Do you use yahoo email ? I have since heard that's the easiest to hack.

HoosierAlum 0
Not my week.-$3000 due to acct hackWow, this is making me sick. I thought it was all over with, but I see people are STILL getting hacked. The bottom line is that Neteller is NOT safe, and I'm getting all my $ out of there ASAP before I regret it.I feel much safer keeping my bankroll on PokerStars.
DanielSon 0
Neteller is a bunch of nits, all they have to do is request that a you answer your security question for a password request!! That's the only thing they don't require you to give information for, they just send it straight to your compromised email....nice job....I told them this and they still didn't change it....WTF...this problem would be over!
