9 left 77k in chips. 3rd at table.Trying to play solid, but avoiding Babegirl like the plague... calls down almost everything. Not good spot to try and bluff. Been at my table directly on my left the last hour and a half.7 left. No chip or position change since last post.

Gonna rail ya while I'm doing some work on a paper for finals. Good luck man.By the way, that story you just told about your friend in the Tropicana poker room was quite disturbing.

Yeah, little off the wall. I didn't see it happen, so there's wiggle room for him to have exaggerated, but it's a funny story, and always worth a laugh. Thanks for the support.

Speaking of Atlantic City, what's your home casino there? My friend and I are pretty much religious Borgata fanatics. Got a room for only 40 bucks on a weeknight over winter break thanks to my 10 hour poker sessions. Great poker room, though I have been meaning to try their SNGs. You given them a whirl?

I think I'm one of the few people that's not a huge fan of Borgata. I've played there a few times, but it feels like you always end up with people jumping up and down every cash game all-in and stuff. Facility-wise, they're awesome though. I haven't had a chance to play their SnG's, but a few of my friends have played there, and they said it's pretty good..decent structure, etc. I personally like Trop and Harrah's. Trop for nice game selection and competent dealers. Harrah's because it's small, quiet, and I know a lot of the players and dealers, and enjoy the atmosphere.Tourney Update:133k in chips.1st.7 left

Have to say that I like both your position and your competition at your table. You're immediately to the left of the two people who have been pushing their stacks a lot, hopefully you can wake up with a hand and isolate. Plus, on your immediate left is a person who you've been able to easily steal from and doesn't realize that they should have made a stand already. (EDIT: That person's eliminated now)Yeah, my experience from playing at the Borgata, at least on the weekends, is that people push their hands way too hard and fast. I don't complain too much because if I can get a run of cards, I can make a bundle in a relatively short time. I usually play the 3-6 when I'm trying to grind out the hours though for the room discount because its pretty much as soft as the 2-4 and I can make 50% more.

Geez, you haven't won that thing yet?KATN
I know, I'm a complete dissapointment. I'm planning the ritualistic suicide as we speak, lol.

Thanks for the compliment on my play. I'm doing my best, trying to be patient. Wish I could stop looking at 2-9 and similar garbage, but it'll come. Trying to come off as overly tight agaist them.I should probably give Borgata another go-round next time I'm in AC, but you tend to get accustomed to the places you like.Stupid call. Had 9-9 and pushed. Ran into Jacks. Down to 60k

No problem man, I am liking what I am seeing so far.Wow thats the first time that getzmodule has actually made a move on your big blind as opposed to just folding his small blind. Last 4 hands he just folded. Funny as how I was just about to make a comment about that. :club: Oh man, rough hand there with the 9s.Nice double up with the pocket 3s.

Struggling back. Those 3's served me well. Up to 113kThat Obsidian guy is running really hot with the hands he's picking up. Making me nervous betting into him without anything.

Yeah he's gotten AQ at least 5 times. Of course that means you can get an easy double up when you push with AK :club: I can't believe how many times these guys are showing their hands, this is absurd.Glad those pocket 10s held up for you against the AJ suited.

Tough break with that Q/7 steal gone wrong. What did you push with when you got knocked out? I missed that hand.Nice cash regardless.

Out in 3rd. Got myself committed to call an all-in with Q-7 clubs. Against 8's..couldn't improve despite flop tease of flush. After that, just lost a few blinds and hands, and got all in with QJ off and ran into AJ... and I'm out. Not terrible, but really felt like I had an excellent shot of taking it down, Always another day I suppose. Thanks to those who railed and left comments. Have a good one... I'm going to sleep.
