erac22 0
I won a 215 dollar ticket to the Sunday Million guarentee last night playing the 3 dollar rebuy satellite. Since this weekend is lawnparties, I will be far too wasted by 4pm to actually play in the tourney, so I cashed out the T dollars, with plans of playing a lot of low buy in tournies to work on my game/ pad my roll. What are your favorite tournies and why on stars? What have you been most successful in? Where is the play most donkish? WHere can a pretty good nl cash game player but innexperienced mtt player improve and make some money? Feedback would be awesome.Thankserac

Payout is extremely top heavy but they run all day so you don't have to worry about scheduling just play when you have a few free hours. And one top 3 finish with 9 chances and you've at least doubled your 215 Bank Roll. Estimates (I can't get on to Pokerstars from this computer):$1000 - first$750 - 2nd$500 - 3rd
krup24 0
I did this before when I first started out but they were called Tourney Dollars at the time. You used to be able to use them for sngs and thats what I did. The buyin I qualified for was $500 buyin and I played 10 and 20 sngs till i used all the tourney dollars.I'm not sure if u can use T$ for sngs.
erac22 0
T $s can definately be used for sng's, thanks for the feedback, keep it comin
MakingMusic 0
I have played a ton of $1-$10 Multis on Pokerstars and find that it is pretty easy to cash in these. There are a lot of dumb players in these tournies who will donk off their chips early. The key is playing good hands. Once you get in the money, however, things seem to change and the tourney shifts to a lot more preflop play. I have yet to make a final table because I always get sucked out on. I can't complain too much because I have sucked out my fair share as well, seems like the worse hand wins on Stars. For example, yesterday I finished 11th in the 3:10 $5. Once we made the money I was all-in or had an opponent all-in four times and the worst hand won each time. I cracked Kings with A9, I beat AK with AJ, I had AQ beat by A7, and I busted out when my QQ was beaten by 77. To sum it up, you can make some money in these tournies, but getting a big cash requires a lot of luck as well.Good luck!
pokerplayer24 0
If you have a lot of time to invest the 3 and 5$ rebuy tourneys are both unbeliavably soft. Also the 10$+1 10 min levels tourney. Its semi quick which is nice, without being that big of a crapshoot.
SunDrop 0
I believe they allow tournament dollars at the 75/150 2-7 triple draw lowball table.
Jordan 1
What are some of the good daily's to play there?Anything from the $50s to $200 range? I've never played at PSrrrs, sue me.:x- Jordan
Redrum 0
do you know if party poker has the same sort of option?I won a tourney using party points, and got my way into a $215 Super Saturday tourney. I'd rather get the 215 in cash, or enter a bunch or smaller tournaments. Can you transfer a freeroll to another player or anything like that? I'd sell it if I could.
BoxingCritic 1
The $20 / 180 is a great tourney. I've placed 1st once and 2nd a few times. The real money is in the top 3. Good tourney to play tight aggressive but take a few risks early. Be warned though, this tourney is quite addicting. :PAlthough, i have to say, you should play the $215. It's got sick payouts.BC
erac22 0
some day I'll play in the mill guarentee, right now I don't have enough confidence in my tourney game, and this particular sunday I'll be hammered, so smaller tournies it is. Thanks for the feedback.
Jam-Fly 8
I quite like the rebuy tournaments. Coz with freezeouts, once you get in the money, you have a load more places to go up before you make sufficent money, sometimes cashing in a $3 tournament and just cashing makes it worth while. Otherwise, the 9 man SNGs are good. generally its down to 8 after the first 5 hands.

PMJackson21 0
100+9 at 11 est gets around 300 usually. But it has a 20% payout structure, which in my opinion, sucks. I can really care less about paying a few more spots when it takes money away from the top 3. They run a 100+9 two hours later a few days a week without the 20% payouts.Besides the 150 and the plethora of rebuys (I recommend the 55k, the 50r during the day, any of the 100r, the 50r on Wednesday night, the 20r Monday night, and the 30r Friday night), Stars also is running a 300+20 on Wednesday nights now, to go along with the Saturday tournament of the same buy in. Also, there looks to be a $200+15 second chance tournament on Sundays now a few hours after the 1 mil.
Bizzle 0
Also, there looks to be a $200+15 second chance tournament on Sundays now a few hours after the 1 mil.Only on weeks where the buyin is 530 or 1050.As for other ones-theres a 500 person $50 on Saturday afternoons at 3, same tourney Friday and Saturday evenings at 10. PMJackson21 0
FYPGod I'm anal.Did they have a second chance tournament before this one? I bet it was after the 1k event they had at the end of March? I was too busy enjoying the wonderful city of Reno (yes, SW) I think.

I assume they will continue to have the $215 whenever they have the $530 or $1050 events each month.
