Jam-Fly 8
Whats the best way to play these. I'm quite good at the 3paying 9man tables. But if only one gets money (or a ticket, if its a satelitte) whats the best way to play ? My aim for the normal SNGs is to cash, which often means i finish 3rd.Btw, im new to posting in the strategy forums, so if theres one of these written already, just let me know
Actuary 3
I would think you need to put on your dancing shoes earlier than you would for a 3 pay, if you are geting low stacked.I'd assume more aggressive play early; but always aware of the maniacal donk who looks to dbl up right away, and see if you can't be the one to get his stack.oh.. and quit getting 3rd all the time.Once 3 way... keep focused, push a lot... no one wants to dbl u up.I tend to get to the Money lower stacked and have really been working on getting 1st (I play 6 Man 2 pay.)ROI is much improved gettting 1st over 2nd/3rd. Jam-Fly 8
Well, when im 3 handed, i play for 1st, but often im short stacked and lose a race for all my chips or something
Stoupes22 0
i think with the 3 pay you need to play to win and worry less about cashing until u get to the final 4 players, than its a waiting game most of the time to clash with anothers all in. As for the 1 pay, but your money in when u think u have the best of it plain and simple push a lot preflop and let them make decisions. I think it is better to be one of the first people out with the best hand than to be the last person out and not win anything.
