dinkis 0
I am going to Vegas but only passing through. I have one full day (Friday) where I am free. I would like to play a NLHE tournament, preferably under $100, but I do not want to play a tournament with an insane structure.I have searched around and found that Luxor has cheap tournaments but I have read that the structure sucks.Does anyone have any advice for where I can find a decently structured under-$100 tournament on Friday in Vegas? Thanks for any tips. budfox427 0
structure at Luxor sucks. Its a no go. Used to be good about 2 years ago, but I'm not sure what happened.
dinkis 0
Also, there is a $200 WSOP circuit event at Harrahs that day that I am kind of considering.Does anyone have any experience with these? It appears to be a one day event, but does anyone have an idea how many entrants these usually get, if the structure is good, any other misc advice about it?Thanks again.EDIT: Circuit event is at Caesars

Suited_Up 2
Caesars noon tourney. It's $130 with the rebuy, but it gives you 4500 in chips if you do it right away. And 40 minute levels.
RyanM 0
Luxor structure goes like this:$50 entry20 minute levels (I think)350 in starting chips (an extra 50 for $3)10/20 blinds to startTop 5 paidSo yeah, it's garbage. I didn't ask about the structure before I played. Placed 3rd anyway (field of 20, took home a whopping $105)
Got The Nutz 0
yeah stick with caesars noon tourney i believe its 80 bucks for 1500 chips and an extra 50 bucks for 3000 more chips so start right off at 130 ,it has a great structure!!

First hour is limit and after that it goes to NL...It's one of the WORST structures I've ever seen in a NL Tourney.
NOFX_PUNK 0
u say u only have one full day? I assume that means u will be arriving Thursday evening? Why not jump in a $30 SnG or a $100 max NL cash game that evening and make up $200 for the WSOP circuit game? at least it's more glamourous and there should be plenty of fish in a Vegas $200! It will also give you a chance to pop your vegas cherry and get some live practice under your belt! GL and if you have time on Friday, TP/MM
Head77 0
My first post on here but I read it a lot. You might want to try the tournament at Aladdin. It is a $60+5 well ran and pretty easy. A lot of the people playing are tourists that have seen Holdem on TV and want to try it out live. There are also so dealers from other casino's in it but they are fun to play with. Usually about 100 people play and it starts at 6 p.m. and another at 2 a.m.
dinkis 0
Thanks for the tips guys! As of right now I am torn between the Aladdin and the WSOP Circuit event. I have never played live before and I can't wait.Yes I will be arriving LATE Thursday night, and leaving early Saturday morning. So Friday is my day. Also, as an aside, I have this recurring dream where I am in a big buy in MTT and I do not know the chip values, and DN and Phil Hellmuth get annoyed at me for slowing down the game. Am I normal?
