You also have to realize that Laak only plays 10 major events a year. He doesnt play a full schedule. The guy makes atleast a final table a year. Thats pretty impressive if you think about it that way. Look at DN, he plays 40 events a year.
Yeah, but your sample size is 2 years. Not really enough to justify your claim as it being impressive.

So then what should we do? Wait 20 years so we have a 200 MTT sample size to see if hes legit? The guy has made 3 WPT final tables and finished 2nd in WSOP last year... I dont know about you but i havent done that. Lets look at who has? Lingren, Negreanu, Amir, Grinder, Lederer, Ivey, Juanda... thats pretty good company.

While I do think that Antonio is probably the better player, I think there is a mehtod to Laak's madness. Some of you guys say its a bad table image, but i think it's distracting for his opponents and gets them off their game a little bit. Besides Phil is probably one of the top five most entertaining players to watch on TV.

You're becoming famous for responses like this. It's just fun to contemplate these things, if you don't think you can formulate an opinion on the limited sample sizes you have, then don't. But don't ***** every thread about people who say good play or bad play, good player or bad player, these threads are just meant for fun.Oh and by the way, Antonio.
