Nope that was last years when you went all in with the nut straight and lost... Remember?
Nope, forgot all about that.Still not sure what point you were making though.

The Master has no shot unless he causes a chip collision while obstructing security cameras. James Van Alstyne has been playing great all tournament long and has been getting there in a lot of the other events but getting unlucky late.

I'd just like to add that I think it's great that Men Nguyen made this final table. He is obviously a very talanted tournament player. I feel that he caught a lot of flack over his POY win last year and there were a lot of "Oh... he plays so many small tournies..." type complaints. To FT the (arguably) 2nd most prestigious tournament of the year is a great way for him to back up the POY award.Back to the real topic... I'm going with David Matthew for no reason at all.James

Except that Men "The Master" has been accused of cheating quite a few times over the years. The rule that both players must turn up their cards when one is all-in is because of him. He puts a lot of his "students" in the tourneys and they chip-dump to him.

The last time I saw van alstyne as chip leader in a tourney he did a really good job of managing his big stack and cruising to 1st. I think it was on poker royale.
no man he won the ultimate poker challenge and 3rd at a circuit event. He is good but i think men will make the greatest come back in wpt history for the win.

Exactly what I was going to say. My opinion is worthless in this matter, but I really have very little respect for him even if only 1% of the accusations are true.

Really? That rule is because of him? I'm not doubting you, just curious if you have a link or something about where you got that information?

It really seems like Joe and David are running this table and Claus is holding his own. James lost a huge pot to Joe and Roland is really needing a good double up or even triple up at this point...Edit - Hand #27 - David Matthew has the button and James Van Alstyne moves all in. Roland De Wolfe calls all in for $1,765,00 with Kh-Kc and Van Alstyne flips over Ks-6s. The flop comes 9h-7d-5s and Van Alstyne picks up a straight draw. The 5d comes on the turn and the river is the 3s. Roland De Wolfe has doubled up. James Van Alstyne is left with $10,000.James Van Alstyne Eliminated 5th ($439,375)Hand #28 - Joe Bartholdi has the button and James Van Alstyne is all in on the antes for his last $10,000 chip. Bartholdi raises to $600,000 and it is folded around. Van Alstyne flips over As-Kc and Bartholdi turns over Jh-10d. The board comes 7s-5d-4c-10s-9s and James Van Alstyne has been eliminated in 5th place.
