buck10957 0
Don't know if anyone has been checking out cardplayer for the chip counts for the WPT Championship, but if you take a look there are only about five or six unknowns on the list. Hopefully we'll have a good final table. Out of who's left I'd like to see the final table be Deeb, Hellmuth, Chan, Josephy, D'Agostino, and Jett. Who would you like to see? deviper 0
I would really like to see Hellmuth or Chan take this one down since they really have'nt done anything in tournaments for a long time. If im not mistaken hellmuth has never won a tourny where the first prize was a million +. This would be a very nice start.

ksean9999 0
chan won a bracelet last year, what do you want from the guy?chan also won 2 bracelets in 2003 and if you consider the fact that he doesn't even play that many tournaments, 3 bracelets in 3 years is pretty damn impressive. had anybody else won more than 3 since then? and i'm not gonna mention poker superstars 2 because the structure is a joke and it's not open to all players. however, the competition is stacked and you DO have to work your way through multiple rounds including heads-up play. thus even though it's a bogus tournament in many regards, to win is a tough test and with a $400,000 first prize and a title coveted by many top pros, it should not be considered "nothing" although it is surely not the same as a wsop or wpt title. That is what makes poker poker. If the amateurs had no chance of winning, would they keep coming back? I would rather see a random Joe win over 3 million instead of a well known pro. It is what keeps poker growing.
deviper 0
chan won a bracelet last year, what do you want from the guy?I want nothing from him. I just said I would like to see him and hellmuth do well since they have not done well in tournaments lately. The tourny's im talking about are the big 10k buyins. And yes I know they don't play in those very often.

I think that would be a killer FT for TV.Monty
