If You Win A Seat The Wsop Me Through Pp...

The seat is worth $12500 through Party Poker. Does Party Poker use the extra 2500 in cash and buy you a package including hotel/airfaire/misc costs? I would assume since Party Poker is sending over a 1000 players that they will put everyone up in the same place? Or is the extra 2500 for the player who won it used at their sole discretion?

Yeah, there should be plenty of hotels that have 1,000 vacant rooms during the WSOP. Seriously, they give you $1,000 in cash for spending money and pay up to 9 nights in a hotel so that's the extra money. Also on a serious note, where the hell are these 8,000+ ME entrants going to stay during the WSOP? Every site is offering hotel for their winners but I'm pretty sure L.V. is going to be absolutely swamped during those two weeks.

I did a quick search, and didn't find the total room count in Vegas, I know it's out there some where.I did find this:Las Vegas, Nevada, with an estimated population of approximately 1,800,000, is the fastest growing city in the United States. There are more hotel rooms in Las Vegas than in any other city in the United States, and more have earned AAA's top Four Diamond rating (17,205 rooms; Chicago is the runner-up with 15,738 Four Diamond rooms). As I write this Las Vegas is the home of 20 of the 30 largest hotels in the United States, including the top 13. (#1 is the MGM Grand, with 5,034 rooms--it is worth seeing, but too big for me!) Several of the hotels reviewed below are on that list: Circus Circus is #4 (3,800 rooms), Mandalay Bay is #5 (3,700 rooms), the Mirage is #8 (3,049 rooms), the Venetian is #9 (3,036 rooms), Monte Carlo is #10 (3,014 rooms), Bellagio is #11 (3,000 rooms), and the Riviera is #26 (2,072 rooms).

the biggest nightmare will be trying to fit all these people in with the regular visitors.you also do forget that the only accomodations in vegas isn't the big resorts. just throw people up in a holiday inn or something.

8,000 people playing in a poker tournament is absolutely nothing compared to tens of thousands of people who come to Las Vegas for various conventions.
