How much you think some of the good players make a day in this game? This is probablly the most profitable game in the history of poker.Edit: This is about the 50-100 plo game on ub.

The swings in that game are retarded. At least on FT, the games are typically no better than 3 or 4 handed at best--and they're typically the definition of LAG.But, to answer your question, on a good day you could make 60, 70, 100k. On a bad day you could lose 60k-80k.

Am I the only one questioning this statement. The most profitable game is the highest limit you can regularly beat.If you suck then this game is the best way to lose all your money. If you're one of the elite then this isn't as profitable as 1000-2000 or whatever.

50-100 isnt a profitable game at all. In fact, no limit is a profitable game. I can guarantee you for every $10000 someone wins at the 50-100 limit, $10000 has been lost by someone else!Count it!

Always interesting to hear points of view from players that aren't even playing in the game. Just because you see a few players that play the game making a donkey play or 2 doesn't make it a soft game. There's going to be people who play for fun and don't care about the money won or lost, higher limits or lower limits is irrelevant as far as that is concerned.

exactly.i'm willing to bet that all but maybe 5-6 people posting in this forum would lose their house playing this game. if LAG/tricky play seems soft to you, you'd probably get crushed by it.

Of course...according to my poll we only have 6 high limit players. Most of us can't even post the blinds for more than a few orbits.

I'm willing to bet there's not one player on this forum--atleast who's a regular poster and whose typical limits/stakes are known--that would be able to even break even in that game. Even with a proper bankroll, the money is just so disgusting, most people wouldn't be able to handle it. Dropping a 20k pot tends to put a dent on most people's psyche. You can't play a strictly TAG game at those stakes, you'll get eaten alive. Most people's weak-tight tendencies would eat them alive.

Dags plays 200/400 on FTP. Man I love watching him play. Every time someone hesitates with middle pair, etc... he's making money. He's super aggressive and just pounds on people.I'd love to have the roll to play that game. Winning just 0.25BB/100 would net you 300 bucks/hour (assuming a reasonable 250 hands/hour HU). WOW!

I'm still confused as to what game we are talking about. Is this 50/100 NL on FullTilt, or 50/100 Limit on Party, or 50/100 NL on UB?
On sorry! I was actually talking about the 50-100 pot limit omaha game on ub.

It becomes dead when I change the subject from nlhe to plo. I dunno why. PLO is a better game.

Probably because most of us have seen more 50/100 NL than we have 50/100 PLO--though I'd agree that PLO is a more complex, interesting, and skillful game.
You and being logical all the time.Don't you know that you can't reason with these people?hehehe.

JDags is a beast. This guy is all over the net playing the biggest stakes for any game and he's like only 23. I really like his style and I never see him on the WSOP. He's been on WPT and the US Poker Championship but never on WSOP.

If you watch one of the first 2004 WSOP main event shows, you can see Dags sitting to Moneymaker's left. He chuckles a few times and looks on in horror at the play Moneymaker makes to bust out. Hopefully he plays a bunch of events this year, it would be interesting to see how they present him on TV after watching his online play for quite awhile.
