the_stein 0
ewwwwwwwwwwwwww you picked party poker ssit n gos over stars?!Party poker sit n gos are a crapshoot when it gets to like 4-5 people. Although if you go to sit n gos 30 dollars and up or maybe 50 dollars n up they start you off with 1000 chips, but still mostly luck at the end. Stars sit n gos are a million times better then party pokers.
JaysonWeber 0
Ultimate Bet has the best structure... hands down..lowest Variance due to "crapshoots" happening on it..
flyingmoose 0
What's the structure of your 10-man freeroll? If it's deep chipstacks go with stars or ultimatebet. If the blinds double every few hands... go with party. If your true goal is to practice, then party really is your worst option. By the time you're heads up in some of those Party SnGs, the blinds are so big that moving in every hand isn't that bad of a strategy. If you want to make money, well, party is renouned for poor players -- and they definitely earned that reputation. Plus the superfast structure allows you to get through a SnG (and on to the next one) within 40 minutes.
Rockets Redglare 0
best site for sit n gos is definitely Pokerstars.....starting with 1500 in chips gives you room to maneuver moreso than sites that start you with 1000 or 800 (what a joke that is)....Pokerstars tables are 9 handed, so they dont really run a lot longer than most other sit n gos.....UltimateBet also has decent ones, starting with 1000 in chips, that have a good flow to them due to UBs quick and smooth interface and play
21gambit 0
pokertree.com is a great site for SNGs of any level and they usually fill up pretty quickly. They have SNGs for any bankroll, seriously, starting at .10 +.1, yes, thats eleven cents, up to 500+50. You start with 2000 in chips, blinds start at 20-40 and increase every 8 minutes. Oh, and 9 players to a table instead of the normal 10. They also have 6 player STTs and speeds ranging from Speed, to Turbo, to Ultra, I am not certain how fast those are since I only play regularI believe it is also connected with Doylesroom.com, much like other pokersites connect with party poker.Bankroll wise, it depends on the stake of the SNG, and your level of play in comparison to the competition, your edge. If you have a big edge, like you would if you played the 11 cent games, 5 times the buy in is fine. If the competition is tough I suggest 30x the buy in if you are going to play them to make a profit. If they have an edge over you, I heard this from someone else and I liked it, you need an infinite bankroll.3ox the buy in
Hmmmm 0
I think pokerroom is a good site for SNG's. They have a 10 +1 5 handed table that is great for getting in some short handed practice. For their 5 dollar tables you only have to give the house .50 cents. The tables fill up very quickly.Steve
JimmyWellington 1
pokerstars with their 2 table ones are great. In the two table ones, they pay 4 spots. starting with 1500 chips is great, if you lose a couple hands, you still have enough chips to be dangerous.
