  1. 1. when do you start looking at your cards for good when playing like this in a multi table tourny ?

    • when only 3 tables remain in tourny, meaning constant nine handed play is nearing an end
      3
    • when 50% of field is gone
      4
    • any time there are multiple shortsacks at table so showing down hands is more likely
      1
    • 3 handed final table
      0
    • final table
      0
    • after u triple up in chips
      0
    • never
      9

so say for fun, or learning perhaps, u decide to play an entire session without ever seeing your holecards, unless of course u pot committ yourself with 5-1 or so odds on the river, i would normally sneak a peak to see if i caught the nuts then. well i did it 2night 4 the first time (i'll be doing it again im sure) for a 6dollar satellite tourny tonight, and advanced past 70% of the field, at times i had my stack hoving around 1.25 - 2.5x starting chip stack. at that point is when i decided to look at my cards. something happened that made me decide this but i was wondering what your decision would be?

I couldn't vote 'cause there was no "other" category.I sometimes don't look at my hole cards and sometimes I only look at one of them. When I do it depends on so many things and I never do this over a long period. It's just not a long term +EV so I only do it to mix things up every now and then.

hopefully this is only in respect to live play.if you'd play blind online you're probably slightly suffering from mal nutrition and think you are a lot better at poker than you actually are.- Jordan

no it is one hundred percent for online play..in fact i disagree whole-heartedly bc i dont think u can get away with this during live play, people will see and catch u not completely looking eventually , perhaps within 25 mins or so

Actually I just tape a little piece of paper over my icon. You should try it, it's a trip.
