I'm wondering if those of you in the area could give me some insite into the poker available there. I'll be in meetings during the day but will have the evenings/night time to get some play in. I saw online that they have a daily tourney at 6:30pm with $1,000 guaranteed for $20 + $5. How is this tourney? How many players to they normally get? Blinds are usually 2-5 or 3-6 at most casinos.As for the $300-500 buy-ins, they are still pretty donkish. I was waiting for a table and railed one for about 1.5 hours at Winstar one night. there are a few decent/solid players, but still plenty of ATM's at that level. It's decent for those limits, but be prepared for an all in fest there at the end. The players there are fairly strong. Pechanga gets players all over SoCal from LA to San Bernardino and San Diego so there's a fairly wide variety of decent to strong players. Be prepared for that as well. Morongo seems to have steep rake, I only played once there, came to play tourny, stayed and played 3/6 and the rake was $3 per hand? I was in BB and got folded all around and all I got was my BB back, they even kept the SB.But the Wheel INN down the freeway has good breakfast.+ev....thanks Good info......thanks.You're from Washington, so you don't know but the In n Out isn't just some fast food store to discount. I remember one hand i played. I was dealt 10 2 off in the BB. UTG raise to $5 2 people called so I call for the hell of it. Flop comes 10 2 K. I won around $80 with 10 2 over AK. You're from Washington, so you don't know but the In n Out isn't just some fast food store to discount. Plan on having a Double Double or you will be forced to turn in your man card. ( I think about 40 bucks) One thursday per month is a ladies onlyevent so you might want to check on that. They usually spread single table sit n gos on Thursday as well, with a buy-in of $100. Some times i hit the $25 tourney, most of the time i join the $40 no limit and wait for the sucks to come from the tourney and school them. Its great. Hows on my space?
