dercampb 0
Alright, I just made a horrible call in my opinion obviously because of the outcome, but I was just looking for some opinions if I could've gotten away from this at any point during the hand. Thanks alot for any opinions that are given. And yes, I know raising with K 10 suited is stupid, but I'm a pretty aggressive player in a 6 handed game and raise quite often. ***** Hand History for Game 3870410561 *****0/0 Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) - Sun Apr 02 01:50:14 EST 2006Table Top Secret (Real Money) -- Seat 3 is the buttonTotal number of players : 5Seat 2: DerrickC13 ( $147.11)Seat 3: vant05 ( $88.13)Seat 4: JBYRD64 ( $88.78)Seat 5: ManlyRounder ( $97.50)Seat 6: K420_AK_ ( $40.85)JBYRD64 posts small blind (0.50)ManlyRounder posts big blind (1)** Dealing down cards **Dealt to DerrickC13 [ Kh, Th ] K420_AK_ folds.DerrickC13 raises (3) to 3vant05 calls (3)JBYRD64 calls (2.50)ManlyRounder folds.** Dealing Flop ** : [ 7c, Ts, 3h ] JBYRD64 bets (5)DerrickC13 calls (5)vant05 folds.** Dealing Turn ** : [ 8h ] JBYRD64 bets (15)DerrickC13 calls (15)** Dealing River ** : [ Ks ] JBYRD64 bets (48)DerrickC13 calls (48)** Summary **Main Pot: $144 | Rake: $2Board: [ 7c Ts 3h 8h Ks ]kipster_2008 balance $100, sits outDerrickC13 balance $76.11, lost $71 [ Kh Th ] [ two pairs, kings and tens -- Kh,Ks,Th,Ts,8h ]vant05 balance $85.13, lost $3 (folded) JBYRD64 balance $161.78, bet $71, collected $144, net +$73 [ 7s 7d ] [ three of a kind, sevens -- Ks,Ts,7s,7d,7c ]ManlyRounder balance $96.50, lost $1 (folded) K420_AK_ balance $40.85, didn't bet (folded)
ICrushHomeGames 0
Please don't post results in OP.Raise the flop. This will usually slow him down on the turn. Lead the turn. If he c/r you, you're in a lot of trouble, but at least you know it.
luckybeans 0
Take the lead in betting on the flop and/or turn. You don't find out any information by calling. You're better off raising on the flop to find out where you stand. It will save you money in the long run. If there were two hearts on the flop, then maybe I just call. SunDrop 0
Not a terrible play as often players will take the lead and keep running with it if they feel you have a hand that hasn't hit the board and/or are drawing. I've played hands like A-Q on a scary board this way, and sometimes they would **** themselves that I just kept calling and never raised. That having been said, like the people above stated, raise the flop. It's a lot less scary.
Dubey 1,035
I would raise to about 20 on the flop, then fold to his re-raise all-in.
