Mercury69 3
So, my gf can be a real ***** about me playing poker. I only play online at home, so far, so it's not like I'm out or unreachable. She says "Make some money, honey" and then turns around and bitches about not spending enough time with her and telling me I have an addiction, which is only slightly true. What would you and/or Ron Mexico do?Your thoughts, flames, verbal vomits, moons, etc are welcome. ajs510 122
Happily, I don't have this issue. My GF is a bigger poker addict than I am. I could suggest a different GF, but that's probably not the advice you're looking for. Take her to the casino and let her burn through $100 at 1-2NL, get her hooked on the way poker makes you feel. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't.

turd ferguson 1
I have the exact same problem. Right now I'm in the process of training her to be more independent. It's slow work, but I can see a little progress.

Randy Reed 0
Oh yeah, and my girlfriend is fascinated by the whole thing, it's hard for her to imagine all these people making all this money playing a game online. She watched me win about $500 the other night and was losing it, lol. She gets all nervous during the tourneys and can't watch when I go all-in and turns her head or covers her eyes, pretty funny stuff.

Stallion714 0
Bear with me on this.I bought a watch a while back. It was a real nice one, and it had a killer band I drooled over once I saw it. I had to have it no matter what. So I jumped on it got it fitted, and wore it home.At first things were great cause it was all pretty, shiny, and new. The only thing was it didn't have any #'s on it. Now maybe I'm a tard, but it made it real hard to tell the time.I was wearing it out, and showing it off to my friends. One of my friends was admiring it and extolling the virtues of superior timepieces compared to say casios. I listened, and when I had a chance I said, "Yeah this is a pretty flash watch, and all, but it's kinda hard to tell the time. Can you tell what time it is?""Yeah." He says."Time to get a new watch."Allegory of the watch.

yergan 0
A middle aged woman standing nude, looks in the bedroom mirror and says to her husband."I look horrible. I'm fat, my boobs and my backside are gettingmore saggy by the day, I find a new wrinkle every morning and Ithink I'll have to go up yet ANOTHER dress size."Sitting down with her head in her hands she continues, "I just feel so old and ugly . . can you please at least pay me one compliment?"The husband replies.....Well if it's any consolation, your eyesight's f*cking spot on!!" HangukMiguk 8
You should read my post about my unhappy (now ex-)gf in General Poker.I actually gave up the game for her. Then she screwed me over.If she's griping, and won't change her stance, drop her and find someone who won't.Also, read Daniel's poker article in 2003 (i think it was...not sure, too lazy to look up) about his ex-gf.
