I think he sincerly feels bad for what he did, and the blog update was definately a good thing to do for his "PR" reputation, I might be in th eminority but I hope he gets things back on track, seems like a nice enough of a guy

Someone posted this on p5s. A much better response then the first one he gave.http://www.zeejustin.com/journal.php?journal_id=81
Well, its a start to rebuilding his reputation. Like he says, it will take years. Although, in the world of professional poker, do you really need a good rep?I guess just from a personal interaction stand point, you probably would want to maintain a good rep.

Dude is an asshat.

"Also, the idea was NOT to collude or chip dump with myself in any way. I only multi accounted in tournaments with thousands of players where it would be very unlikely for me to ever end up at the same table as myself. If the goal was collusion, I would have multi-entered smaller tournaments like sit’n’gos. This is something that I have never done."
It doesn't matter if he has multiple personas at a single table, it is still strictly against the rules, and still gives him a large advantage. And of course he never entered sit 'n gos with multiple personas.....the ****ing software blocks this from happening. It is impossible. He sees to have left this bit of information out.......edit: Also:
"Party has a zero tolerance policy which in my opinion is unfair. If I had only double entered a single $10 tournament, by the same policy, that would be grounds for them to confiscate $100,000 from me which seems unreasonable."
SHUT THE HELL UP! You read the ****ing rules before you joined the site, and this policy is spelled out explicitly. Don't join the site if their rules are, as you put it, "unreasonable." And if you didn't read the rules before you joined the site, you're an even bigger moron. Either way, major asshat.

I agree that he does seem to feel bad, but he also has little clues in there that makes me think, he feels this way just cuz he got caught and missing the money. Says how he didn't think this was wrong at first...come on...have a little common sense. You obviously couldn't do this live (without cloning) so obvously it's wrong to do it online. also later in his blog, he puts it out there on where the line is, saying that obviously SNG's are wrong but where do you draw that line...lolGuess he should of withdrawn a little more of that 100k

YoCheating is cheating...period. That being said, I know in my life as a 33 year old man that I have made a BAZILLION mistakes!!! Some of them were forgiven and some weren't.His statemeant is at the very least the 1st step in the right direction. If he is indeed sorry and can learn from this experience, I think he can be forgiven over time. It is definately better than his..."If i got on a table w/ myself I'd just open 3 more sit ang go's so I won't cheat" excuse.Only time will tell if he is really a cheating scumbag who won't change who he is, or just an 18 year old KID who made mistakes and can learn from them.

there are parts of what he wrote that still don't jive with me, and still show him to be arrogant. He still tries to provide justifications for him doing this practice, when he shouldn't be trying to defend that at all. I didn't really like the kid before this all went down, and his initial reply in the monster thread at 2p2 was just ridiculous

I'm glad he's said something at least, as opposed to JJProdigy.I commend him for his forthrightness, but he'll never be as respected as he used to be.

he does seem like a good kid. he made 1 mistake that cost him a lot. I wish him the best since no one is perfect.I know if most FCPers had the chance to have the edge on a online poker by finding some sort of bug, you would def. do it until you got caught. we are gamblers, and we want to have those edges, and we will push those edges as far as possible.

i kind of feel sorry for this guy but then again you have to know using multilple accounts is wrong and therefore you pay the consequences for this when you are caught

Nope. I don't cheat.I know people that have, and probably would again maybe, but that's their character.---ZJ feels bad cause he got caught. Had he not got caught, he'd still be doing what he did. It's like most people that do something wrong, yet continue to do it until they get caught, then they apologize. "I'm sorry I killed your wife. I feel bad." -- OK. Feel bad. You are still going to rot in jail, etc. Just like ZJ still should not be allowed to play online poker again. Feel bad all he wants, good for him. But he should have to find something else to do.- Jordan

PetroiaI agree he likely won't ever be looked at quite the same, but there are MANY who consider Men The Massa a great player and have little idea of the chit he has pulled in his day. If this is indeed a SINCERE apology, people will forgive and MANY will forget.I see the JJ situation a little differently. Isn't he 16? I know that some posters here aren't over the age of 18, but there is a HUGE difference maturity-wise between most 16 and 18 yeard old KIDS. I think the reasons JJ hasn't really come out an apologized is because he is OBV not mature enought to handle what has happeend to him. Not only the fact he got his $$ confisctaed, but to me the real "shocker" was his age. I mean... R U kiddin me 16 years old!!!! He was crushing the game and he was only 16!!!FWIW...I have coached KIDS ages 13-21 my entire adult life...I guess that's why I am willing to give a little more benefit of the doubt and in JJ's case at 16, I really think he is just too dang young to get what he has done or it's impact.

Yeah, well ..... I'm sorry. I don't know if I'll ever be able to play in the WPT events ever again. Or if I'll even be allowed to play in some Vegas Casinos. Maybe in time, people will forget. I realize now that what I did was wrong. I just want to say that the time that I've spent playing poker has been really fun. I got to meet Antonio Esfandiari, Carlos Mortensen, Marcel Luske. It's been really great. Hopefully this will be just a bump in the road. I will be a better man because of this.

I said I was sorry but seriously, haven't I suffered enough? Party took $100,000 from me. Besides, you don't even know me.
