Phlatline 0
I don't get it. How is enclosing players in a dome going to change anything? I would imagine they are trying to put a new spin on televised poker but I fail to see how this would make viewing more exciting. Frankly the audience should never come into play anyway. I guess maybe they want to prevent players from getting up and walking around during a hand, similar to what we see on the WPT every week. In my opinion, the players should have to remain seated until they are finished with the hand, in the WPT or otherwise.Sorry to be negative, but I just don't see this idea really taking off.Phlat_________

Though, I did think, from watching the event on TV, that his total disinterest in the outcome of the hand and his general demeanor indicated a lot of strength. Btw, Poker Dome sounds cheesy.MontyPS The krablar dance is exempted from my general distaste for excessive extra-curricular activity during poker.

TNAChicago1 0
The core concept here isn't that bad (secluded play with an audience) - but building an actual dome for this sole purpose seems aggressive.I'm not sure why FSN doens't just create a temprorary set for this in one of the big convention halls in Vegas (similiar to where WSOP '05 was held, but an even bigger room). No extra red-tape, set up some big grandstands, put the "bubble" in the middle....Lights, camera, action. Poker Dome (sort of).....it could work.
