If you're looking for the cheapest room in town, I can't help you. But, if you want to stay in the nicest room of your life for $129 a night, stay at the Wynn.
ya u have to play 6 hours of poker a day to get the room rate at the wynn, unless you are with a guest, than you can split it 3 hours each.which most of us would do anyways, but just so u knowThe alladin is perfect for cheap cheap rooms, and great shower pressure

circus circus was dirt cheap and been awhile since they sent their 29 weekday/59 weekend offers ... get upgrade to tower room if possible, others we not so nice ... but not a problem since you wont be there cept to sleepJay

If you want it really cheap, any casinos off strip will do such as Gold Coast, Orleans, Terribles, etc . I heard many of them offer around $25/night with $4 steak-n-shrimp dinners or something like that, and cheap hookers as well. But it's Vegas baby, treat yourself nice in Bellagio, Venetian, or Mandalay Bay. Even Palms is pretty nice and decent.

Best poker rooms (IMO) are Ceasars, Wynn, Bellagio and Mirage.I am sure there is easy money at a lot of the other locations. If you want to balance location, cost, room quality and poker room...then I would suggest you select Bellagio (Wynn is at the end of the strip...but my second choice given a balance of all 4 above).

Well, this doesn't really answer your question specifically....But I'm staying there in like 2 weeks....I wanted the room to be the least of my money concerns, so cheaper was better, but location mattered...I found a good deal at Imperial Palace, for like 65/nt during the week and 85 on weekends. Deluxe room and a couple free buffet coupons.http://www.imperialpalace.com/stay.php?subid=8&contentid=284And they have a great location right in the middle of the strip. I plan on playing at Caesars most of the time which is right across the street.

http://allvegaspoker.com/poker_rates.phpHave fun..just got back from there.
Which rate did you use, was it hard to set up? how do they verify your play?

Yes I have, but I don't plan on being in the blackjack pit. I just need a bed in a decent location.

gotcha, I just remember the hotel being loud and annoying but definetly a good rate I may just have to take advantage of it.If not this it looks like excaliber, decent room rate, fishy games (i've played there once before) and am not bothered by being at the end of the strip because I am going to the Dane Cook show at mandalay bay

Another decent alternative. I prefer the mid strip, but if you gotta go there anyway, lol.I think they said the Deluxe rooms just got redone. So maybe they are pretty decent. (IP)They did move the poker room to just off the casino floor though, which I am not a big fan of, I liked it up on the 3rd floor, it was nice and quiet, but I'll probably just play there late nights before I go to sleep, so shouldn't be a big deal. Plus the new poker room is right next to the bar, so I hear that drinks are super fast, lol.

Same tables from the reviews I read...Those things are enormous, lol... I mean, quality, I dunno... if it's got felt and a soft rail, i'm fine.. but you had to stand up to throw your chips in, lol.

yeah thats what I thought I was pretty drunk by the time that I got there so I thought maybe that made the tables look huge. I guess not. I just eread on thier site "oversized tables" why would they be proud of that?

Yeah, the blackjack tables are incredibly annoying (I don't know why anyone thought the impersonators were a good idea), but the poker room is up a level .... and no one likes to reveal their best fishing spots, but that dumpy little poker room ... well, it's a big strip. You can look around for yourself.

I am going to vegas next weekend. last second trip.does anyone know which hotels offer any good poker room rates?number of hours played/ price of room etc. respond in here or PM methanks
It MAY be too late (you need 7 day advance), but Southwest Airlines is offering great combined hotel/air packages right now. Crappy hotel for four nights and plane ride (RT) is around 200 ... tempting tempting tempting.

Huh...I was just at the IP in February and the poker room was still on the 2nd floor (I didn't know it was ever on the 3rd). I did make some money playing 1/2 NL there because the players were the worst that I encountered on the Strip.
