He'll be playing for Calgary for the next few weeks anyways as they go for the WHL championship.
nell789 0
you've made a trade already? What are you giving in return? cause you haven't had the expansion draft yet have you? There is no chance we'll be seeing Pogge. He'll be playing for Calgary for the next few weeks anyways as they go for the WHL championship. And it should stay that way. I hate when franchises rush young players in before they're ready, that's the worst thing you can do. I think Boston was smart with the way they handled Joe Thornton, and Ottawa did well with Spezza. That's the way to do it. Of course some players are ready to come in right away, see Alexander Ovechkin.
gruven 530
Most pro teams try to bring up big time prospects when the rosters expand, not really to play them, but to give them a taste of big league life. So you may see those youngsters with either the Leafs or the Marlies towards the end of the season...

So you may see those youngsters with either the Leafs or the Marlies towards the end of the season...yeah i just meant to give the young guys a few games as opposed to a tryout. if pogge is busy that's fine, but i think its good for those young guys, especially goalies, to get a few games and maybe a week or two with the pro team just to see what it's all aboot. I saw a Wolves v. Marlies game when I was visiting my brother in Chicago and that has always bothered me as to what a Marlie is.

sinc 0
Schremp is going to be unreal, but who's the other guy? (Excuse my ignorance) AlexiThis deal is probably good just for getting Schrempy, assuming he can check his attitude at the door. I've been watching him for 3 years here in London and when hes on(which is most of the time) he makes the other players look like their in tyke hockey.

You never even noticed him when he was on the ice. I really thought he'd be a butt kicker in the most recent WJC but he never stepped up in the big games.

digitalmonkey 929
1 point in the last 5 games. When it mattered he didn't come through.I'm still happy with a point per game performance. The whole US Junior team was horrible so when it comes to evaluating his potential I'll put more emphasis on the 145 points he scored in 57 games with the Knights than the few games he played with the US Juniors. goose 0
that pick could easily be a first or second overall pick. that's a risky trade.
