The blinds were getting up there, and Griz was playing very tight. I ran into his A5, and then it went from there. 22 held up, then 52 in the big blind caught a 5 against 34. Flexacou tried to bully, I caught a couple of hands and he basically gave me the tournament. Blinds were 200/400 when I had 35 chips left. This isn't a brag post, as there wasn't any skill involved in the comeback other than a couple steals I guess. Even more sweet that it happend for a 75K guaranteed ticket($200 buyin), and not a smaller satellite win I'm primarily a cash game player, but have two nice tickets for tourneys today(this and a 50+5 for the 10K guaranteed). This could get me over the hump and out of the 100NL grind for good, if I can make a nice score. I won't start the rail me thread until the final table(s). Granted mine was just a satellite, nice job in yours though. The only difference is you had an entire blind to play with I had less than 1/10th of ONE big blind(35, big blind was 400). So I guess YOU ain't got shitt on ME!!

actually my buddy was telling me about last night he got down below one big blind (400 chips at 500/1000) at the FT of a 45-person SNG with 9 left, and ended up winning.i think 35 chips is more impressive though, that was sweet!

Congrats man, I know the feeling also. Yesterday I posted a thread about my SnG where I was down to 10 chips 8 handed with the blinds at 100/200. I survived like 6 all ins in a row then lost 2 pots to short stacks. Then I came back and made it to heads up with 5k to his 15k but only got 2nd.

Hopefully there will be an even better ending to this. 1st hour break, 83rd in chips with 257 remaining. Only a few hundred above average chips, but in the top 3rd. The best part is not many hands. I doubled up after being down to 1800 early with a set of jacks, but nothing since. I enjoy being card dead early. Give me my big hands when there's short stacks and the blinds and antes mean something. As far as longest post, it's ony 23 hands. I don't have the WPT editing abilities.

Still hope. Ran KK into AA, taking 80% of my stack. Got lucky with 55 vs KK as the shortstack, and A10 vs K9 against the table maniac. 2nd break, 4600 in chips, avg 7200, 76 of 122 remaining.George Mason, 11 seed, in the Final 4!!! Inspiration!
