Two Pair, I Don't Make Flashy Titles

Recommended Posts

Damn man... how do you keep it straight and have time to think?I have a hard enough time with 4 tables.
When you play full tables, you've got to play TAG and you're folded on most of the tables most of the time. Occasionally, you'll time out when you get a hand that requires a lot of attention, but it's no biggie. I admit that it can get a little stressful, and the reads do suffer. That's why I prefer playing around 5 at a time.

Agreed, but at 6-7 tables I have to imagine you often end up seeing the flop with more than one hand. I'm just not comfortable playing more than one hand after the flop. But congrats to you!I'm guessing you're running two monitors for that?

ok, i generally play 3-4 tables of 2/4 LHE and its no problem keeping up with PT running.when i was clearing boni, i played 6-7 tables of $25 NLHE or $25 PLO/8, and had no trouble keeping up. i'm pretty sure i could've done 8-10 if i had a decent monitor and mouse as well. frankly, i don't think it'd be that big a problem playing very mechanical (though with PT help) TA on 6-8 tables. i think for like 8 tables, my hourly win rate would be higher than my slightly better play on 3-4 tables.thoughts?

I think 6 tables is where i max out and my winrate starts to drop off a fair amount.4 is my comfort zone though. I cant play 6 tables for an extended period of time without getting stressed. 4 is nice and easy, and i can usually watch a tv show in the background while sipping a drink of whatever. and have the FCP forums open, of course.Ive played as many as 10 at .50/1, but if you dont stay completely focussed, you start timing out left right and center.
