It's live. Before the turn was flipped, i asked if he wanted to chop.I dont feel like flipping coins for $65.
But you went all in with a draw, most of the time when you get called, won't you be flipping coins?

OK, first I'm guessing that this is a home game, since you're playing micro stakes, and chopping a cash game pot.Second, why the hell would you chop here? Don't you usually multi-table 2/4 and 3/6? I mean is $30 that big of a risk that you can't afford to play the hand out normally? If anything, I'd think at a home game, you'd want to try to push people around a little who aren't as comfortable with the money, and make them know that they'll have to play for the "whole $30" if they're going to call you.Even if you did want to "defray your risk" a little bit, I'd think that you'd choose to run it twice so you can be cool like DN, and pretend you're playing at the big game.I don't know, maybe I just have more "gambol" than some people. If I combine my live and online bankrolls, I have a little over $3000, but I'll still make an occasional $5 straddle or $10 re-straddle in a 1/2 NL game to keep my table image loose and to keep the game going strong. I certainly won't shy away from repotting preflop in PL Omaha if I have double-suited kings. I mean obviously you want to win, but didn't we all start playing poker at some point because we liked to gamble?

If he had anything other than a bigger flush draw, I'm all for the gambool, but 76 is a dog according to my numbers here.

I had a slightly similar hand...$2/5 NL 6 handed liveI'm in the sb and call a raise to $15 with 6 9 diamonds( I was also chip leader at that time with about $800) and my friend calls in the bb. Flop is 7 d 8 d 4...I bet $20 into a $60 pot and get called by my friend and the rest of the table folds. Turn is the 10 d giving me the straight flush and my friend was borrowing about $700 from me at that time...and obviously since he's a friend I don't want to rob him...so I check. But then he bets $5...which is his signal that he has a "monster." So what can I do? I just call, and bet out $100 on the river and basically tell him to fold...by now I know that he has the K high flush ...so basically every diamond except the 10 and 5 would have made my hand dead...

It should be pretty obvious that i didnt want to get called by _that_ hand.A lot of hands that do call me, im ahead of by a fair amount. For instance, overpairs. And a lot of hands that fold, im not that much of a favorite against.I make overbet raises with draws enough (since we all buy in for 50 big blinds) that people call me with pretty sketchy ****.

Yeah - and i went home to play 4 tables of 3/6 and be up and down a few hundred in a matter of minutes. But if i had the choice, i'd rather not gamble with it. I'd rather just collect my 2 big bets for every 100 hands without any random fluctuations.
