21gambit 0 Posted March 24, 2006 Share Posted March 24, 2006 FYIIf you want to download live@thebike while it streams live to your computer, check out a nice little program I discovered today called ASFrecorder(www.geocities.com/asfrecorder, or just search for it in google) captures streaming media to your computer for later viewing. I cant stream it myself due to a crappy connection. Also, and Im not certain, but I think youll need this if you plan on doing it, check out http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2005/09/4139/.It explains how to hijack web-browser embedded streaming media and download it to your computer for viewing at your leisure(browser embedded is where the video is displayed within your browser instead of opening up a seperate WMP window, its a bit more difficult to hijack, but still doable provided that the info in the 2nd link is followed). Another tidbit, this link explains how to video capture embedded music videos from Yahoo Launch(a huge music video site, but only allows streaming, which is a pain), it should be easily applicable to any other embedded stream though.Im going to give it a shot tonight, but I dont think my connection will work for it since it most likely wont buffer the information Im trying to download for an excess of 15 minutes due to the fact that its live.If anyone can capture this and put it on a torrent, Im sure many many people will thank you.
