Dratj 0
I'm guilty of doing this many times. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. However, when it doesn't, I end up losing way more than what I would ever lose playing poker. BlackJack tilt is the worst. I just keep betting bigger and bigger and digging myself a deep hole. It's good in a way to see even pros like DN can't resist playing games of -EV. I told my friends to never ever let me sit down at a Blackjack table again. it's because I can never just play table min. Before I know it, I'm betting 500 dollars a hand, which is crazy for me. I told my friends to never ever let me sit down at a Blackjack table again. it's because I can never just play table min. Before I know it, I'm betting 500 dollars a hand, which is crazy for me.I play roulette and craps when I need to blow off some steam, but never with my bankroll. Blackjack just feels like a grind to me. I like the fact that I can get paid off in roulette and craps with smaller bets. For a long time now, I've been stopping at a random roulette table on my way out of the poker room and betting $10 or $20 on 17. The days it misses, it's no big deal, I won't miss the cash. I know I'm probably down overall for as many times as I've done it (get to the poker rooms in AC about once a week). The three times I've hit though, $10 twice and $20 once, it's the second greatest gambling rush I've had (after winning a tournament). Nothing like walking out of the casino feeling great with an extra $350 or $700 in your pocket off of one spin!

Good guy.By "you" I meant "the OP" not some brilliant guy who always makes the optimal play, and then counts cards to negate the house edge. I understand that one could beat the house if one were so inclined and had the necessary intellectual capacity, but the OP clearly has neither.
Butcho22 0
Don't play Blackjack. This has to be the worst advice ever. If you're really stuck, head to Money Tree and take out a payday loan, then put it all on one hand. If you double up, stack it up and let it ride. Continue until you are a millionare. psujohn 0
I'm reading the Busting Vegas book which is very interesting. They're not card counters. They actually do a couple of sneaky tricks that involve tracking a card through the deck - either an A or a T - and then manipulate that card to the players hand - A - or to the dealer - T. The A techniques give them a 51% advantage on that single hand. The T technique gives them a 30% advantage on all 6 hands at the table. Seriously +EV if you can do it. Oh and not get the crap beat out of you too often. If you can't do that it's cheaper to just burn your money. Being that burning your money is less fun so you're not likely to keep doing it. fleung22 1
I'm not really one to say 'cause I've been known to hang around the craps table a time or two but......Stay away from BLACKJACK!!I dealt blackjack for a very short time and cleaned people out so easily that in my head it's just so obvious a losing proposition.
