I Don't Give A ****

Recommended Posts

Over the last two years, i have had the worst run ever in poker. I don't give a **** what u yall say. The only way u would believe how bad my luck is, is if u sweated my cards for the last 2 years. No bad beat stories, just alot of bad players with bad cards making bad plays and getting lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear it man. Why don't you find some new players to play with? Or find an easy game with consistent players?

2 years actually is not that bad, a friend of mine, who is in his 40's has stories of 6 year droughts, where the cards just run cold and you just cannot put two and two together.although you need to stay positive and play within your limits, i know a lot of people who run cold, and instead of taking it down a notch or two, they raise the stakes in hopes of getting even faster, and more often than not dig themselves in a much deeper rut.also taking time off is great, my job enables me to do thi9s as i go away for 5-7 times per year, minimum 6 weeks at a time without a card room in 400 KM or an internet connection to save your life.I also suggest reading the various literature that is out there, it doesn't matter how much you think you know, you can always know more.best of luck in the future

yeah...2 years is nothing. I know this 57 year old dude who says he's the best poker player in the world nobody's heard of and that he's on a 20-year run of bad luck....but really...he's a great player...just very unlucky with the cards. :club:

2 years?! Jesus Christ, I've heard of variance, but Goddamn, 2 years? How many hands is that?Just kidding buddy, 2 year losing streaks are very common in poker. Actually it's a scientific fact that 2 years is about the longest losing streak you can have before turning it around. Variance says that after 2 years of losing, if you're a good player, it follows that you'll have 4 years of great luck and winning at poker. So things are going to turn around big time for you. Your wins are gonna be huge. What sites do you play and what's your screennames there? So us FCP guys can come and cheer you on on your comeback?

Quit poker, seriously. There's no such thing as a 2 year bad run of cards. You're either lying or terrible at poker.

Of course...we don't actually know how many hands this guy is talking about. If you're an online player you could play 4+ years worth of live poker in a year.

i don't drill for diamonds especially, the past 2 years has been straight coal, "diamond drilling" means you use a drill bit encrusted with diamonds on the crowns.generally i've been drilling outside of chetwynd [northern BC] but over the past 3 years it has taken me all over the place.BTW sorry for highjacking your thread dude, I'm done.

I wouldn't be happy about it but he had a lot of chips. He may have put you on nothing on the flop planning on raising on the turn. When the club came up he had the nut flush draw and an inside straight draw. I'm not trying to be a jerk but try that sometime. I mean when you're in a position similar to this .... If you put him on nothing on the flop call him on the flop. Check raise the turn. He either puts em all in or folds. Then again I'm not very advanced but it seems to work.
