And you know he probably flipped out when the hands got flipped: "Queen-2 suited!? You're such a donk!" etc, etc
Yup, I have to resist the urge to say, "Well, you're the one who let me see all 5 cards for free"

This is why we get action to the river after capping preflop with KK. KK is not a raising hand. It's too obvious. Better to raise with 92o and disguise your strength, donkey. :club:

Villian must have misclicked and slapped himself for missing a bet...until he saw the result and cursed at himself while being only mildly consoled by the fact that he saved 1 bet....but overall pissed.

I don't understand the point of this thread? What's wrong with trapping? How do you guys play KK?
i think there is something significantly wrong with not raising KK preflop. trapping by, say cold-calling 3-bets instead of capping with aces is fine, but not raising a high pair preflop seems like its definitely poor.especially in a blind-steal situation, where you are likely to be played back at. same goes for checking the flop and not raising the turn.trapping is not always bad, but its definitely an art.

I'd say more likely he gave himself a pat on the back for making a great read putting the guy on quads and saving 1 big bet.
