speedz99 145
who is the executor of the estate? have that person or entity demand the money or the sale will happen. Holy shit you're a real lawyer now. Crazy. And she makes 2x what I do. Just think, if she was a man he/she would make 2.5x what you do! She's beautiful and a wonderful baby. Guy already won't stop talking about his damn baby.

Tiltinagain 977
Nice productive day. It rained most of the day but not too Bad. However my wife sent me pictures of our backyard. Apparently it's been raining HARD there all day and our backyard is just a series of large puddles/small ponds. Also got to see you brother this afternoon since he lives just a couple of miles from one of my dealers. Yeah Frau, what happened with your power move?

Iphonenkinder 558
I am continuing to twist in wind. I have settled on not title I want or deserve, but is still a bump up. Org will want me to do job, and then in 6-12 months probs bring in major fundraiser above me. The raise amount is still not settled, I was told today whatever the agreed amount is, you'll get half now and negotiate second half at end of fiscal. (Which is right around when potential new employee starts.) I told them I would agree to lower salary, but only after potential new employee starts. In other words, pay me the money while I'm doing job--and consider it a gap bump. This would be good for me, better title and the money. The org is in such internal turmoil a hire process will take forever.
frautotenkinder 1,025
Hey! I've got more feelings to talk about, my apologies, I'm a woman and the worst. It's end of fiscal, there's a lot of pressure, and I'm transitioning into a new role--but I'm shocked at how alone I feel at this higher level of management. Gentlemen, I have seen the workings of the brain trust, and it is not reassuring. The best part is that I feel like I've asked for what I want, and haven't undercut myself too much. My male aging Midwest relative has lost 30 lb since April. He was 5'8 or 5'9, 180ish. He's freaked out about his health, and has gone into an anxious tailspin of extreme healthy eating only. I am dreading seeing him at Christmas time, he's old enough he doesn't take his picture. No one wants to see a skinny 75 year old man. Mr. Chicago did a nice flip flop on me, via text, of course. I'm doing okay, I wish I was seeing other people, working less--something. For my petty revenge I settled for posting a picture of me wearing sequined pants. My ass is a poem.

Tiltinagain 977
I totally believe Frau in regards to her poem-esque ass. Such a damned tease though... I don't know that I like th "half now, half later" salary increase deal. Never, not once, has a "We will make it right later" money arrangement come out remotely in my favor.
AmScray 354
you know those stupid MS paint things take longer than you'd think and theres just no payoff doing them for the 9 people who still post here but for ****s sake I've never had a stronger urge to do a cartoon set than of Janice Dickinsons narrative of the time Bill Cosby raped her. http://www.cnn.com/v...ations.cnn.html
Tiltinagain 977
Do it for old times sake scram. Which reminds me, where the hell is beans...again? Also I forgot to mention that my daughter bought me a pair of Cole Haun slip on loafers for my birthday. I'm not usually a fan of slip ons but these are quite possibly the most comfortable shoes I've worn.
AmScray 354
A friend of mine works in a recruiting function for a certain major academic institution that values athletics. The stories he tells about the various underhanded and black-hat shit schools still do to entice blue chip prospects are pretty crazy in light of the fact that is significantly lower key than how it was not even 10 years ago (ie, certain major recruiting programs that once had fixers on staff who were paid cash off the books to do straight illegal shit, buy whores and dope for the recruits) The most interesting thing he noted is how all top prospects are categorized into one of three ways. A: "Ready to go" = Shaquille O'Neal at LSU. The moment he comes out of high school, you know he is the best player in the nation. B: "Premier talent in development" = Michael Jordan at NC. Nobody had any idea that was coming but indicators of 'big-time' were there. C: "Developmental Gamble" = David Robinson coming out of high school. 6'6, shows a lot of 'genetic talent' but weak performance background. If he pays off (magically grows into a 7 footer who can shoot) its a big deal but if not, you're only out a 4 year scholarship for a communications degree that he'll flunk out of anyway. The head coach, a beloved imbecile, believes the correct strategy is to put all the recruiting effort into focusing on #1s. While the school is very well respected and 'major', its not top-top and they wind up losing out on all of those players anyway while having no 'hat in the ring' competing for the B's and C's that they actually could get. They get plenty of mediocre mules with good 'work ethnics' that coaches love but none of the far outlying talent that wins. We have devised a strategy.
Napa Lite 3,280
Frau will you be my date for the company Xmas party in mid January? I hate going to these things alone. I've got some southwest miles you can use.
Ron_Mexico 4,232
Christmas party ih mid January is awful. People dont want to drink, eat and party in January. Dietd and resolutions abound Uh oh, I mentioned resolutions. Cue angry Strat
Napa Lite 3,280
It really is dumb. And I say mid-Jan but it's really the 23rd. Almost a full month after Christmas. My guess is they want to save the goodwill for throwing us a party since they already give us Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner within a month. Need to spread these things out so us drones stay complacent. NOT ME THOUGH I SEE THROUGH THE VEIL
speedz99 145
My male aging Midwest relative has lost 30 lb since April. He was 5'8 or 5'9, 180ish. He's freaked out about his health, and has gone into an anxious tailspin of extreme healthy eating only. I'm no human doctor, but I'm pretty sure the eating he's doing, while extreme, is not healthy. Bill Cosby The thing I find most interesting about the whole story is the fact that Cosby could have been sleeping with plenty of women, probably including a lot of the ones he drugged. He clearly has a "passed out chick" fetish. I didn't realize that was a thing, although I'm sure if I googled it there would be plenty of videos proving me wrong. We have devised a strategy. Go on... Frau will you be my date for the company Xmas party in mid January? I hate going to these things alone. I've got some southwest miles you can use. Only the thread participant with ladyparts gets an invite? Things have changed, man. Things have changed. Meanwhile, I started posting here a few days ago after a multiple year absence, and today I called in sick for the first time since I started working again about a year and a half ago. Coincidence?
