Tiltinagain 973
The DM I was training the last 3 days is from Arkansas. Big ole' farm grown boy. Bordered on inappropriateness multiple times a day. Today we were going to lunch and he mentioned a girls ass, mentioned in front of employees about how many asians were around the hotel/golf course he was staying at and followed it up with a "Tiger woods got all the asians to want to come to the US and play golf" "joke", started to say something about mexicans today....to a store full of mexicans....before I stopped him. Who hires these people? The good news is he's off to Texas tomorrow.

Essay21 2,385
Basically she is my assistant, although i cannot fire her and im not listed as her suoervisor. But shr supports me and does thr tasks i assign her or that need to be done so i can make my approvals and such. But i guess technically she is not.

InternetExplorer 2,609
the last person that got fired from my company, a partner went into her office, opened the conversation with, "are you at a stopping point?"
SuitedAces21 2,723
how'd she respond?
InternetExplorer 2,609
I don't think it matters. Such a great way to fire someone.
SuitedAces21 2,723
my dad told me when he first started he had to fire his secretary. so he goes to the HR guy and is like i'm firing this lady, she's incompetent. HR guy tells him that she has never had a negative review in 15 years. she has now. guy kept arguing. pops told him that they could keep paying her if they wanted too, but after friday she wouldn't be here anymore.
Tiltinagain 973
Your pops had it going on. Cut to the chase, no BS, why prolong the situation if it's obvious it's not going to work? HR people are the antithesis of this. Boss called today and said my raise had been adjusted up to 5.25%. Pro-ration since I hadn't had a raise since I started in October 2012, just before the previous review period. So that was kind of nice. Still about $1,500 less than I really wanted but I'll take it. ShakeZuma 585
god damn it these fucks and their lollygagging on sending me my 1099s. deadline was late february and here I sit with nothing. can't do my damn taxes because of approximately 20 dollars in taxable interest. lazy ass bitches. so anyways, who files their taxes online? any site out there the best or just pick a random one? I might go fishing tomorrow. haven't been in years other than the yearly camping trip. place I'm going is right down the road from that awesome bbq joint and the gas station with the great beer selection so that's part of what's encouraging me. though I really don't need to be spending that money. shit I need a better job. Napa_Don 688
I filed online using h&r block because they e-filed both federal and state for free for me. My taxes are super simple though so I'm not worried about missing credits or anything.
Dawson Leery 12
I have the business environment and concepts from 2012, wonder if that's held up? There's not a whole lot to it. I've seen those quiz apps on my iphone, I'll have to get them. got a haircut today, girl that cut my hair looks exactly like bonnie rotten. i need a shower. As long as you're not an inbred hillbilly from Virginia (sorry Sal) you'll be fine on BEC.
