Tiltinagain 973
Strat is almost certainly bi-polar. That's how. This has crossed my mind... I didn't know you were a heads up specialist. Heh
frautotenkinder 1,025
I was legitimately sad that I wasn't around to have a reason to drop in and sit at her desk, yes. ah well. I just meant that that's what I'd need to switch jobs and move out. presumably we'd then date. if it goes to plan. Ah, I forgot you need a place of your own. Yes, you need that (even with roommates). [quote name='ShakeZuma' timestamp='1383408949' post='3627428' what are you all doing?! I need to figure out what the smell is in my apartment. I think it might be the fresh flowers (bouquet of sunflowers and purple thistles) and not the orchid. I have spent a large part of my day up for a little while, then lightly napping. It's too nice outside, though, and I should get some fresh air. Not a cloud in the sky here. Beautiful "fall" day in So Cal. Seconded.

InternetExplorer 2,609
I'm only bipolar when it comes to girls. talked to some recruiter woman with aerotek on Friday, while the recruiter for that other company was frantically sending me things to apply to. I told her I likened my company to a farm team, with every good employee just waiting to get called up to the big leagues. she paused, then said, "that's a REALLY good comparison." see some pretty solid listings at cerner. was trying to get someone, ****ing anyone, to give me a name to put down as a referral. even went so far as to send my résumé to my friend so his friend would be comfortable claiming to know me. Ron_Mexico 4,220
I find that I really enjoy going to Publix (grocery store) Sam's and BJ's by myself to go shopping. I wander around a lot and wanna buy a bunch of stuff Made a Cincinnati chili type thing tonight. Saw a couple of people making it on tv shows, one of which was Guy Feiri, and went with it. Used chili powder, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg and cocoa in the meat mixture. Was pretty solid. Shopping, wandering and then creating. I like this stuff. Sam's has a sweet ping pong table for $160. I can't pull the trigger. Nobody to play with.

Napa Lite 3,279
Props on hitting the gym, bro. Use this time off to get swole AF. Just saw some post on reddit about some kid asking for suggestions on what to do with 5 free hours a day. Makes me think of you. I might go get in a sesh letter or maybe do some insanity at home. Spending the day watching red zone and doing errands. Gotta go grocery shopping because we're commuting to a client this week that has zero food options so got to bring my own. InternetExplorer 2,609
I just do not understand why people live in places like that. not big enough to support anything but a grocery store, 30 miles away. Jesus.
Napa_Don 688
Well, its more that the clients main office is in the middle of nowhere (like, not in a town or anything) and it would take to long to go get lunch somewhere. But, yeah, I agree. Most places we've been going to have been exactly as you described save for some shitty cafe.
InternetExplorer 2,609
the local bank had a branch in a town of about 300 people, that according to the census averaged less than $30k annual income for working age adults. literally the bank just bumrushed all the financially ignorant farmers, every bit a payday lender. I had to help out with their network a time or two and it just felt like I was taking a journey back into the 19th century. ate another pound of beef. yep. bought a 2.25lb thing from Walmart, so I lied either today or yesterday. somewhere in there, a quarter pound slipped in. That's what she said! Small towns are really nice in their own way. I grew up in town of about 13,000. Not really small but small enough to not have the craziness of big cities. My wife was in a town of about 5,000 in high school. (It's now about 35,000 after the CA housing boom) It was a pain to have to drive 30 minutes to get to anything more than kmart and grocery stores. The nearest mall at the time was probably 45 minutes away. I worked in the town I grew up in for about 6 years and my commute was 5 minutes. 7 if you hit the one red light between work and my house. That part was really nice.
