First call I actually talked to her for 45 minutes. Really odd since I don't actually like many people but she was extremely cool and hilarous, like Betty White. Having grown up in a country bar I obviously know who George Jones was. Weird how I hated that stuff as a kid, but am all sentimental about it now. Hopefully the final week of the remodel project and I can finally have my life back in a couple weeks. Days off are killing me. I needed beans yesterday as I replaced a wall plug "receptacle". Sonofabitch... Tile floors are done and he was finishing up the backsplash when I left this morning. Guys showed up and started to install the wood floors. You know, I thought the house was perfectly fine before and this is costing a fortune but I do think it's going to be pretty damn awesome when we're finished. I'll have to have everyone over... We still email once every few months or so, and I think/hope she's amused instead of bitter about the fact that I'm moving here after telling her there was no way in hell I'd move here with her. It was long enough ago for it not to count, right? I'll just mention my mom's cancer in the email and she has to be nice...I really just want to see my old cat. It left a a half inch of sand like dust all over the house. We coverd up as much stuff as possible but it's ridiculous and we have to clean up virutally every night. Ive been constantly moving stuff downstairs, and stuffing it in Shake's spare bedroom. The counters gave her an excuse to clean out every single cabinet and redo them. I've been hanging shelves and stuff in different places. Hey some guy just came out gay for the Cetlics. InternetExplorer 2,609 Posted April 29, 2013 Share Posted April 29, 2013 sorry to contribute to the boring, but this made me laugh so I am sharing it they installed 1920x1080 monitors for everyone here some time ago, but everyone is still on 1280x1025. so everyone's screen looks awful and nobody understands why they are not better off for having the bigger monitor. literally, "my monitor is bigger, thus I can see more!" anyway, this guy is like, how do I get mine to look as sharp as yours. I go to change the resolution, which works, and then I change the DPI because he says he can't read the text at the bigger resolution. it errors, says contact your administration. guy has somehow managed to install spotify through the security settings, but installing new fonts is NOT OKAY according to XP. probably only ouch8s will find this amusing. She's planning to break up with her boyfriend this week. Gonna kick him out of her apartment where they live. If this happens he'd probably stay with me until he gets his own place. On a related note, she's planning on buying a house this summer and I'm probably going to live with her because she won't make me sign a lease and I'll save big money. Boyfriend thinks he will be living there but could find out on Wednesday he won't be. If she goes through with it anyways, I have my doubts. I'll keep you updated.
