Find one friend suited, thats all you need. Get a buzz, get loud and fun, be funny, flirt/harrass a waitress, people will see that you're where the party is at.

 

Its always fun for me when you can see other tables/people at the bar/lane next to ours noticing that we are having fun and trying to decide how they can get in on it. Cuz you know they want to

I shouldn't complain so much. There's a good number of people I could go out and drink with. My roommate is out every weekend with his girlfriend and all their Indian (dot not feather) friends. And I could go out with them anytime. But Jesus Brvy are they annoying. Taking shots and yelling, "popped a Molly now I'm sweatin' - wooooo!l" like a bunch of high school jersey shore fags. My roommate doesn't do that, he's cool, but those Indians run in packs and I can't be a part of that, I tried and I couldn't handle it.

 

The problem is I hate almost everyone I meet, because most people are dumbass morons. So I don't enjoy just meeting new people or going out unless I wanna hang with the people and I don't have any go to buddies right now and I'm at an age where it's going to be harder and harder to make new friends.

You're rfght on all accounts. Those people do sound awful. Although, we went through a "jaeger bahm" phase after My New Haircut came out. We can all be annoying to different people.

 

It does get harder to make friends the older you get. People with kids do it because they have forced hangouts. Single people, not as much

 

But you're way too young for all that. Local kid, high school, college, law school. You're supposed to have all kinds of people. Find common interest hangouts, Like your KU fascination.

I'm the same way. I will go to a bar by myself because all my friends either live ~1 hour or more away. Sometimes I just need a few drinks away from the home life.

 

I usually don't strike up too much of a conversation with people because I don't want to be "that guy", usually just watch sports, play golden tee, etc..

Edit: And Saturday night my girl friend from college said I should go out to the bars with her and her girlfriend that's coming into town. Not that anything will happen because both have boyfriends and are reasonably attractive and so wouldn't have to settle for me but its still something.
