I watched an episode once and it was stupid. Dude was just saying the most racist/offensive stuff he could and calling it comedy. Didn't even crack a smile. Also, that link doesn't work on mobile.

 

And I'm going to feel bad if he actually did rape that chick, but to me it sounds like this chick consensually got double teamed by Palo and his friend and then regretted it and claimed rape. I'd like to think ISU isn't Notre Dame and isn't going to allow a dude who was like the 7th guy in the rotation who avgd like 4 points a game the previous season to get off on rape charges so he could come back and still not even be the 6th man.

You don't just go from zero to purple hattedness, but obviously not doing acid is a decent life decision. The only long term positive result it can tend to bring a solid, rational human being is a moment or two of clarity in which you can have an epiphany of sorts...but, then again, that's coming from someone who did it as an 18 year old with very little self awareness in his sober mind. Thoughts like "I should stop being a dick to my parents" might not be a surprise to you, but they positively impacted my life.

I am sure there is SOME good in trying it once. I am not DARE-brainwashed or anything retarded like that, just my experience with people who got into heavier drugs (heavier than weed/booze, I'm not comparing acid to needle play) has not generally left a positive impression.

I'm sure it was. Looking back on it, she was really patient. she kept a nice mellow tone and an overall gentle manner that kept me from really going through the looking glass at the time.

 

I would say if someone wants to experiment with psychadelics to avoid acid and go with mushrooms instead. NATURE! I think, for someone in their 20s and surrounded by the right people, a few trips can have an overall beneficial impact on one's psyche.

Ron, did you say you were on the Carnival Dream? Seems like you did but I'm to lazy to go back and look. Seems you dodged a bullet. They lost a generator or something and had to skip one of their port stops and limp back home. Carnival also has another ship bobbing around the ocean with issues.

 

Preventative maintenance doesn't seem to be their strong suit.

Finished at the client. Now a 6 hour drive home followed up a 4 hour drive up to Mpls for a weekend of shooting, boozing, and cruising. Preferably at the same time.

 

Dick manager lightened up after Tuesday and was actually nice and helpful. He's more bipolar than I am apparently. Was a little worrie i made a mistake because i discovered that their inventory was pretty overvalued but both managers went over my work and couldn't find anything where I went wrong. I think the clients going to pass on the adjustment though. Seeing all these rookie mistakes they make really makes me want to be in a controller type position so I can set everything up perfect.

 

Next week ill be working an hour from home, but we'll still be working long hours, so ill probably have less free time than this week but at least ill be able to sleep in my own bed. Plus ill be working with a good manager.
