speedz99 145
But they spend a quarter of every broadcast talking about inane things and giggling like children over them. That's exactly why I like them. I really don't need someone telling me that a pitch was taken for a ball inside. And there are only so many strategic moves made in a game that a color guy can provide insight to...I mean, I guess he could talk about every hitter's tendencies versus different types of pitchers, but that gets inane quick.I think baseball announcers should spend very little time actually talking about what's happening in the game. Just tell stories or talk about whatever the hot topics in baseball/sports/society are.Concur. Crosspost!I've never really understood the whole being star-struck thing. Or caring about stuff like autographs, unless it's on a really cool piece of memoribilia. I'm not saying your are all about either of those things, just making a general comment on our culture as a whole. You mean Donna? Her name's DonnaHeh.

Any tips on how to get through work tomorrow without crying?Nah, you'll just have to be weepy for a few days, sad for a few weeks, and uninterested in guys for a few months. I recommend asking a few close friends to have a few beers with you tomorrow night, that'll help a bit.You always claimed you knew this wasn't going to last forever...in my opinion, it's better off ended sooner rather than later. You weren't right for each other, which happens. And it'll happen again. But with every relationship you learn more about what exactly you are and are not looking for in a long-term partner, so you'll be able to recognize the right guy when he shows up in your life. *cue triumphant music, possibly from Love Actually soundtrackRe-read your posts about him?Heh.I like stories. I hate shenanigans and hijinks. There are only so many stories that can be told over and over again.Edit: Queue?

ShakeZuma 586
you could shoot his knee caps with a 12 gauge shotgun. that usually does the trick. or you could drug him, tie him up, and cut off pieces of his face. I don't know I'm just spitballin' here.
LadyGrey 8
Begging worked. We're back on (for now). Man it's been a crazy horrible night. Wish I hadn't told all my family we broke up already, but hey, maybe he's going to do it again soon so I won't tell them we got back together yet.I'm pulling a sickie tomorrow to go see him in the morning. We agreed to rewind back to last Tuesday and redo it all.
