If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

I am just curious why anything the Right is scared of automatically becomes communism to them.
Both sides act like imbeciles. What we need is someone not beholden to big money influences that would do the right thing.

Anyway, I'm more concerned with the sickie sweet sixteen (priorities, people). I've got 20 posters and need to cut four. Who gets left out? brvheart CaneBrain - Maybe I just didn't notice him before, but it seems like he hasn't been around this thread long so he doesn't count as a fully fledged sickie in my mind El Guapo gobears - What Speedz said hank213 - Doesn't seem like he posts a lot in here JoeyJoJo JubilantLankyLad LadyGrey loogie Napa Don Randy Reed Ron Mexico SBriand Sickinfo2 speedz99 strategy - He quit and deleted tons of his posts, therefore he deserves to be punished. He will need to earn back our faith in him. Tactical Bear Theraflu - I just don't like him. Especially since I drew a cartoon for him and he was rude and ungrateful. That was the last straw vbnautilus Quacktastic

I am not denying that politicians have ulterior motives when creating legislation. You will get no argument from me on that.My issue is with the common folk who scream "COMMUNISM" anytime they don't like something. I would love a detailed explanation on how Health Care Reform = The US is now a Communist nation. People are spouting it off all over the place today yet nothing they say actually backs it up.

What?
Huh?I think Cane makes it because he posts in here fairly often now. Like Jubi says, I'm more of a what have you done for me lately kind of guy.Same deal with strat; he's here now and it's more fun to do this with people who are aware of it.I think it's probably Thera, Quack, hank, gobears, and beans that don't get in.Beans is a #1 seed lock if he were around, but we'll just pretend he's on postseason probation for now.

Stupid grinning embarrassed husband with no balls who stopped saying anything but YES DEAR can go DIAGF too. IF YOU HAVE WORKING FREE WIRELESS INTERNET PROVIDED BY US, BUT THEN DECIDE TO PAY FOR A DIFFERENT WIRELESS SIGNAL, WHY COME COMPLAIN TO ME THAT THE PAID ONE ISN'T ANY BETTER? stupidbitchfacecuntwhore

This is what you get for 50 bucks/month. Capped benefits, no prescription drug coverage, no maternity coverage. This would protect me against a car accident and cancer. If I get sick under this plan, I'm still not going to the doctor.
Well, luckily for you I guess, these type of plans will become illegal sometime tomorrow afternoon and you'll be required by law to buy one much more expensive or pay a fine. Feel free to stop reading here.

I think people lose sight of what "insurance" means very easily in this debate. Car insurance doesn't cover you needing your brake pads replaced, oil changed, or needing new spark plugs. Car insurance covers you when someone plows into you and you need a new door. I'm pretty sure you pay more than $600 a year for car insurance? In the same way, health insurance was originally intended to be "just in case", and people paid out of pocket for things like doctor visits, most drugs, etc. If you ask your parents, this is how it used to work. Somewhere along the way, insurance and all health care costs became muddled because insurance companies were happy to earn their 2-3% profit on all costs rather than just the big ticket items. If you want to go to the doctor, you can go on your own as originally intended, and if you want to take some fiscal responsibility you can open a health savings account, which lets you put pre-tax money away to pay for medical expenses, effectively saving you 10-35% on your medical costs (depending on your tax bracket). There are also federally and/or state subsidized health clinics in every state that would make going to the doctor and getting basic medicines extremely cheap or free if you are sick. I realize i don't post much here (or on FCP in general) much anymore, but it's extremely difficult to contain myself on this issue. The amount of ignorance on the issue is ****ing staggering (from both sides of the spectrum). When I was an auditor, I spent quite a bit of my time on health care jobs, including a hospital and a middle-man health services company. I'd put my knowledge of the economics of the healthcare industry up against damn near any senator or congressman/woman, and that's where I absolutely lose it at this bill. The provisions written in late in the game to make sure it appears like it won't cost a damn near infinite amount of money are preposterous. There are tons of ways to address the actual underlying reasons health care costs are outpacing overall economic growth, and this bill does jack all to address that actual, very real, underlying problem.

I concur.

The fine for not having health insurance by I believe 2015 or maybe 2013 was...$325. I guess I can go dl the bill again and find the exact wording but I don't feel like it.

$750 or 2% of your income, whichever is greater.

So wang can pay $XXX to be in the same boat he's in now for free, up until the point he gets sick and starts paying a lot more for an insurance policy that covers stuff he doesn't need to be covered for. I guess that's a good alternative.

But I just read $325 in 2014, then $695 in 2015 or 2.5% of your income.

Well I will first start off by saying I will not be getting into this with you because there is no point. You have your opinions and I have mine and no matter what each of us says we will never ever agree. I think we can pretty much agree that it will be a waste of our time to try.Secondly, nm, I need to go back to my first point.Thirdly...nm. I need to go back to the first point.:)And for humor...look at it this way, if you don't like it here you can move to Canada...oh wait. Ok the UK...oh wait. Or maybe...Russia...oh wait.Edit: God I need to learn to just let it go. Also by 2014, I will take a leap and say that insurance will end up being much more affordable. If I am wrong, feel free to mock me more than normal.

CNNUnder the plan now headed to Obama, individuals are required to purchase health insurance coverage or face a fine of up to $750 or 2 percent of their income -- whichever is greater. It includes a hardship exemption for poorer Americans. The compromise package would drop the individual fine to $695 or 2.5 percent of income, whichever is greater. We're both right!

We need Joey to create one of his famous "What would you do..."scenarios to turn things around.Like, ok, if you are a guy and you have a iFlip HD camera and you can choose to become any woman for 24 hours and in that 24 hours you can create awesome HD video to commemorate the occasion, who would you be?YAY I GET MSU. I was so hoping for MSU.
