Tactical Bear 3
Disaster commences in T-minus 1 hour. Now that I have a phone with photographic and video capabilities, perhaps I'll be able to capture some of it in real time. The Odyssey begins: I think I need to run really, really good tonight. For some reason, it feels important. Luckily, I have never let that get in the way of me being... well, me. Wish me luck.I like this picture so much better. This is me beforehand, certain that, one way or another, the evening was going to end in disaster.

mk 11
- I really like that Pearl Jam album MK put up, thank you for that.npi partied with 311 a couple times. really, really nice guys.yeah. originally i thought evenflow too, but on repeated listening, i had to disagree.the first couple times i listened, i thought jeremy was most improved sonically, and it might be, but the way he mixed the outro bothers me. the original really climaxes with eddie's maniacal "AYE YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY etc" which i like, but brendan really brought out the 12-string right when it comes in (one phrase before AYE YAY YAY YAY...) as opposed to the original mix where you can't really make out the 12-string until almost the very end...I was going to say what sal said to the computer lab story. seriously man, just use your ****ing laptop and stop letting these halfnigs ruin your day.so awful but i laughed

Ron_Mexico 4,219
so the original clown who mixed pearl jam's ten drenched everything in gobs of godawful digital reverb so everything sounds like it's a billion miles away, and the band hated the mix but didn't have the money at the time to mix with anyone decent. they finally got brendan o'brien to remix it for the deluxe edition which is coming out soon in stores but has already been leaked online of course.i just listened, and it sounds a lot lot better. kind of crazy and fun to hear eddie's dry performances on these songs i've heard a million times before. yay for people doing smart things on reissues.here if you're interestedIt took me 14 times to figure out the captchaTook down the FCP 40 person WSOP 2 seat tourney - Poppy finished 3rd so sickies were well represented. In true donkament fashion, my JJ>QQ to stay alive and my AJ>AK on the last hand to win itCongrats Andre. It worked it out but that damn Pokerstars. Suckout cityit sounds pretty great. now if only they could've gotten ament to re-record all his bass parts on a normal bass instead of that stupid fing fretless, ten would sound like the rest of their catalog...i remember so vividly buying vs. the day it came out and blaring it on my dad's amazing vintage stereo (which is now in my possession obv) and just being flabbergasted at how aggressive and awesome it sounded. animal ripped my face off. now at least even flow sounds close to that level of energy without all the edges dulled down.and f yes to the bridge of alive when the extra guitars come in and there's actually, like, an impact, instead of more blurrrrrrrI loved this album when it came out. Fantastic. Their unplugged concert rocked the shit. Really showed the energy. Same deal when I saw them on SNL. They went nuts on the outtro for Alive. I still remember Vedder rocking a White Sox hatBeans update of the day....I just cant seem to get Randy outta my head....Didn't get this joke until Speedz was puzzled and asked about Randy's cancer

Theraflu 1,035
Had my fantasy league draft yesterday at my friend's house. It's my favorite day of the year, and it went over pretty well. One of our first-year new GM's fly in from Michigan for the draft. He got in Friday, and I didn't tell anyone he was here, so when he showed up at the draft everyone thought he was in Michigan, it was fun. I had my friend that works at a liquor store get me a case (24) of the Sam Imperial White 4 packs, that are 10.3%. I had five of them in the 3 hours of drafting, and then had to spend 2 hours sobering up.Also, at the Celtics game the other day I had the Sam Adams Brick Red on draft. I didn't even know the beer existed, it almost made it worth the $8 to try something new on tap. It was delectable.
